TMZ reports that Halle Berry and ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry are locked in a heated battle over the custody of their 2-year-old daughter Nahla, and they have been for months.

Apparently Gabriel is sick and tired of Halle’s movie career getting in the way of him seeing his daughter. This is what caused Halle to back out of ‘New Years Eve’ – and Katherine Heigl took over her role.

Accommodations were made for Gabriel to join Halle on the set of her last movie, in London, but he doesn’t like having to travel with Halle to see his daughter.

The couple never established custody and visitation rights – they tried to figure it out themselves, without the help of the court, but the situation has become “impossible”.

I can see how both sides would be frustrating. On Halle’s part – she’s an actress, it’s what she does for a living. She has to travel. That makes sense. On the other hand, Gabriel probably doesn’t like having to drop whatever he’s doing – to follow Halle around the world while she films movies. He has a modeling career himself. Gonna get ugly, I’m afraid!

Kim Kardashian’s budding romance with model Gabriel Aubry has ended as suddenly as it began Life & Style can exclusively reveal.

“Kim feels like Gabriel was just using her for her fame,” an insider close to Kim tells Life & Style. Plus, Gabriel, 34, “is older than Kim is looking for,” says the insider. “So she’s decided to stop seeing him.”

Kim’s not wasting any time on regrets. She has already started dating Kris Humphries, a 25-year-old basketball player for the New Jersey Nets.

“Kim likes him much more than Gabriel,” says the insider to Life & Style. “He’s normal, so much fun and cute. He’s perfect for what Kim wants right now, which is some fun dates and some fun times.” And of course he’s an athlete, continuing Kim’s pattern of falling for jocks.

So just how serious are they? The new duo went out for a dinner date at Nobu in NYC recently, and Kim watched Kris play in Newark, N.J., on Nov. 29 followed by a post game hang out. But that wasn’t the 30-year-old reality star’s only trip to New Jersey—the pair was just spotted on Dec. 5 at Maxwell’s Bar in Hoboken, N.J. dining out. Kim, who is watching her weight since she stopped filming in NYC, ordered a goat cheese salad and a veggie burger (hold the bun)!

“There’s a real spark between them,” adds the insider.

A friend said, “He likes how family-oriented she is” and said that the reality starlet appreciates how devoted he is to his daughter Nahla.

On Tuesday, the couple spent the evening hanging out but the next day Aubry, 35, made time for his daughter.

Kardashian and Aubry, who went public at a recent L.A. Lakers game, met through mutual friends in New York. “She likes that he’s so cool and relaxed,” adds a friend of the pair. “He’s great.”

Kim Kardashian appeared on The View to promote her new book, Kardashian Konfidential, alongside her sisters, Khloe and Kourtney.

She was grilled over recent reports that she is dating Halle Berry’s ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry. Her mother has denied any relationship reports and until now, Kim has kept mum on the topic.

Breaking her silence on The View, Kim said, “Um, I am single and I’m dating. I’m having fun.” She squirmed in her seat when Barbara Walters went on to ask about their recent date at the Lakers game.

Kim said, “I’m really trying to be a little more private about my dating life. But it doesn’t mean I don’t meet gorgeous, amazing people.”

Reality star Kim Kardashian has been living the single life in NYC, but now that she’s home in LA, she’s back in the dating game! Kim was spotted Sunday night at an LA Lakers game with Gabriel Aubry, Halle Berry’s ex and the father of Halle’s daughter, Nahla.

“Kim and Gabriel met a few times while they were both in New York, and there was definitely chemistry,” an insider tells Life & Style about the pair. “But when Kim returned to Los Angeles last Thursday, they really took it to the next level. They went out to dinner, caught the Lakers game and spent time at Kim’s house.”

What does the Kardashian clan think of Kim’s new squeeze? “He has already met Kris [Jenner, Kim’s mom], as well as Khloé and Kourtney,” reveals the insider. “They’re all wild about him.”

Halle Berry took daugther Nahla to the pumpkin patch on Friday, and now it’s dads turn! Gabriel Aubry took his daughter to Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Hollywood over the weekend.

Halle Berry has been split from the her father of her child, model Gabriel Aubry, for months now. So it was no shock to see her cuddling and handing hands with her sexy French costar Olivier Marinez. The pair are shooting a thriller called Dark Tide.

“Yes, it’s a romance,” a source close to Martinez confirms to UsMagazine.com.

Berry, 43, and Martinez, 44 are “sharing an intense passion,” the insider adds. “They were instantly attracted to each other” when Dark Tide began filming in South Africa a couple months ago.

Martinez previously dated singer Kylie Minogue for about 4 years. The two broke-up in 2007.

Olivier is also known for her role in the movie Unfaithful. He played Diane Lane’s sexy lover.

Berry and Aubry were also together for about 4 years. They split this last May but remain friends. Their dauther Nahla is 2 years old.

Berry recently told Vogue she and Aubry are “still friends, we love each other very much, and we both share the love of our lives…[he is] an amazing father.”
