Has the nasty custody battle between Gabriel Aubry and Halle Berry be over? According to RadarOnline, Gabriel has dropped his lawsuits against Halle.

Back in December Gabriel has sued for partial custody of Nahla. Radar reports that, “Gabriel and Halle have spoken to each other and have committed to try and make things work, without the courts – Gabe’s decision to drop his case is his way of showing Halle he’s prepared to take a leap of faith and trust her once again.”

Earlier in the day, TMZ reported that Berry was in a Los Angeles court with her lawyer, though why she was there was unclear.

Following the ugly turn their custody battle took recently, it’s nice to see that Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have come to their senses and cooled down.

Earlier this month Halle lashed out claiming Gabriel was racist, and Gabriel called Halle a jealous crazy person. Insults flew, and the one who was suffering the most was 2-year-old Nahla!

While it seems that a friendship between the two is unlikely for now, Berry has reportedly declared a ceasefire and is attempting to do some damage control.

“Halle started realizing that things were getting out of control,” says Radar’s source. “It was just getting too nasty and public.”

The custody battle has gotten surprisingly ugly. Yesterday it was revealed that the fight has gone racial. Today we’re learning that maybe Gabriel Aubry was right…maybe Halle Berry has something in common with Mel Gibson. According to Radaronline, Halle has left Gabriel multiple nasty messages, and it’s Halle that’s made this ugly, not Gabriel.  A source says:

“I honestly think Gabriel should release some of these messages he has from Halle, and tell his side of the story, but he won’t, he said he’s going to save them for family court, which will be a private, press-free environment. I know it sounds like I’m painting a picture but Gabriel truly does not want to do anything at all that could potentially damage his daughter, and he knows attacking Halle in the press would ultimately do that.

“Unlike Halle Berry Gabriel is not concerned with the public believing he is the ‘wronged one’ and with controlling his image – he is concerned with his daughter and her welfare.

“Perhaps if Halle spent more time truly worrying about that and less time worrying about how she’s being portrayed in the press the situation would be better and easier for all concerned.”

“Halle’s timing in these ‘revelations’ speaks volumes. It’s amazing how she’s only now chosen to come forward about all this ‘abuse’ and Gabriel’s ‘bad parenting’, basically after he went to court to legally establish his parental rights.

“All Gabriel wanted was to ensure his legal entitled access to his daughter, and to not have to be at the mercy of Halle’s moods as to when and how he could see Nahla.

“And now Halle’s totally gone off the deep end, because it’s all about her and it’s all about her controlling Gabriel and controlling the situation.

“She’s totally gone into spin mode and is trying desperately to paint herself as this tragic victim figure, as she’s done many times in the past.

Apparently, her emails were no better. “You were only good for one thing… Thanks for the donation,” she allegedly wrote in an email according to Radaronline.com.

Sources tell TMZ that the custody battle between Halle Berry and her baby daddy Gabriel Aubry is getting very ugly. According to sources, Gabriel called Halle the N word – and routinely demeaned her during their relationship.

In addition to calling her the “N” word, he would also call her a “f**king bitch” and other expletives.  And the vulgarities are not limited to face-to-face confrontations.  There are vulgar text messages as well.

As one source told TMZ, “He constantly demeaned her.  It was awful.”

Gabriel’s reps have not returned our calls.

Halle claims that Gabriel is a crazy jealous person, who put their daughter at risk with his antics. Gabriel claims that Halle flies into jealous rages – and is almost non-existent in their daughter’s life.

Gabriel claims that while he was dating someone last year (Kim Kardashian perhaps?) Halle would call and scream and swear at him. He also claims that while he followed Halle and Nahla to South Africa last year while she filmed a movie, she would sometimes not return for days – while she was supposed to care for the toddler. He also claims she cares more about dating than she does about being a mother.

Halle claims the opposite. She says that Gabriel is the jealous one. Halle also claims that Gabriel has put their daughter in harms way while not being tentative when the girl is present.

So much for handling it amicably!

TMZ reports that Halle Berry and ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry are locked in a heated battle over the custody of their 2-year-old daughter Nahla, and they have been for months.

Apparently Gabriel is sick and tired of Halle’s movie career getting in the way of him seeing his daughter. This is what caused Halle to back out of ‘New Years Eve’ – and Katherine Heigl took over her role.

Accommodations were made for Gabriel to join Halle on the set of her last movie, in London, but he doesn’t like having to travel with Halle to see his daughter.

The couple never established custody and visitation rights – they tried to figure it out themselves, without the help of the court, but the situation has become “impossible”.

I can see how both sides would be frustrating. On Halle’s part – she’s an actress, it’s what she does for a living. She has to travel. That makes sense. On the other hand, Gabriel probably doesn’t like having to drop whatever he’s doing – to follow Halle around the world while she films movies. He has a modeling career himself. Gonna get ugly, I’m afraid!

Kim Kardashian’s budding romance with model Gabriel Aubry has ended as suddenly as it began Life & Style can exclusively reveal.

“Kim feels like Gabriel was just using her for her fame,” an insider close to Kim tells Life & Style. Plus, Gabriel, 34, “is older than Kim is looking for,” says the insider. “So she’s decided to stop seeing him.”

Kim’s not wasting any time on regrets. She has already started dating Kris Humphries, a 25-year-old basketball player for the New Jersey Nets.

“Kim likes him much more than Gabriel,” says the insider to Life & Style. “He’s normal, so much fun and cute. He’s perfect for what Kim wants right now, which is some fun dates and some fun times.” And of course he’s an athlete, continuing Kim’s pattern of falling for jocks.

So just how serious are they? The new duo went out for a dinner date at Nobu in NYC recently, and Kim watched Kris play in Newark, N.J., on Nov. 29 followed by a post game hang out. But that wasn’t the 30-year-old reality star’s only trip to New Jersey—the pair was just spotted on Dec. 5 at Maxwell’s Bar in Hoboken, N.J. dining out. Kim, who is watching her weight since she stopped filming in NYC, ordered a goat cheese salad and a veggie burger (hold the bun)!

“There’s a real spark between them,” adds the insider.

Kim Kardashian and Gabriel Aubry seem to be taking their relationship slowly, but they do have one thing in common — family!

A friend said, “He likes how family-oriented she is” and said that the reality starlet appreciates how devoted he is to his daughter Nahla.

While Kardashian is “trying to take it slow,” says the source, she and Aubry spent the Thanksgiving holiday together in L.A. and he met the whole Kardashian clan.

On Tuesday, the couple spent the evening hanging out but the next day Aubry, 35, made time for his daughter.

Kardashian and Aubry, who went public at a recent L.A. Lakers game, met through mutual friends in New York. “She likes that he’s so cool and relaxed,” adds a friend of the pair. “He’s great.”
