The beef between Frank Ocean and Chris Brown will not be put to rest anytime soon, particularly because in the wake of their parking-lot brawl over the weekend, Ocean is looking to press charges against Brown.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore told Reuters on Monday (January 28) that Ocean “is desirous of prosecution in this incident,” which could have serious implications for Brown’s five-year probation from his 2009 assault of on-again, off-again girlfriend Rihanna.
Brown has one more year of probation left to serve from the highly publicized and scrutinized 2009 incident, but this new brawl with Ocean could see him in hot water again. Last June, Brown was injured in a New York nightclub when his and Drake’s respective entourages came to blows, and then back in November, Brown received a stern warning from the judge overseeing his case for failing a drug test conducted when he was fulfilling his court-ordered community service in Virginia last year.

Chris Brown was involved in another huge fight last night, this time involving singer Frank Ocean. According to TMZ’s sources, it was Ocean who started the whole thing.
Chris was at Westlake Studio in Los Angeles, listening to one of the artists he represents. According to TMZ, when Chris went to leave, Frank Ocean and his crew blocked Chris from leaving. Apparently Chris was in Frank’s parking spot, and Frank said, “This is my studio, this is my parking spot.”
Apparently Chris went to shake Frank’s hand (hard to believe?), and that’s when one of Frank’s people jumped Chris. Apparently someone from Chris’ group jumped out and hit Frank’s friend. That’s when Frank came at Chris – and the two started brawling. The police were called to the scene.
Above is a photo of Chris Brown at the studio taken before the fight.
Police have cleared the scene. We’re told Chris Brown was not there when officers arrived — but they did speak to Frank Ocean. At this point … we’re told no one wants to press charges, and no arrests have been made.
Cops say they will continue to investigate and want to speak with Chris Brown. They refer to Ocean as “the victim” because he’s the one who stuck around and spoke with police. Ocean said the fight started over a parking space (how L.A.) and Brown punched him. There were 6 people involved in the fight.
After the incident, Ocean tweeted “got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. i only wish everest [his dog] was there. cut my finger now I can’t play w two hands at the grammys.”
Whether or not Chris started the fight, drama certainly follows him around, doesn’t it?
