Fergie is relieved her tight rubber trousers stayed in one piece as she performed a “one-handed walkover” during the taping of charity show Idol Gives Back on Sunday night.

The Black Eyed Peas star wowed the audience at Hollywood’s Kodak Theater by performing the one-handed cartwheel during a performance with rockers Heart. But she was worried thousands would see more than she wanted them to.

She says, “Luckily there were no wardrobe malfunctions.”

Fergie is surprised her gymnastics during the rendition of Heart’s classic Barracuda has created such a fuss – because she has been performing the move for months.

She explains, “I went through years of gymnastics and I wanted to be a gymnast at one time… I was in a show with will.i.am… and he pulled out this breakdancing move… and I didn’t know what to do because I didn’t know any breakdancing moves. So I was like, ‘OK, I’ll just pull out some of my old school moves.’ Fans loved it and so I’ve been putting it in my show and I actually do Barracuda in my set because I sang it for the Shrek 3 soundtrack, so that’s when I do it.”

Fergie has revealed the diet secret behind her fit physique – she downs shots of vinegar.

The pop star’s trainer Natasha Kufa passed on the tip, claiming the vinegar flushes out fat in the colon and helps the body digest food. It also reportedly cuts out cravings.

And Fergie insists the trick really works: “I do vinegar shots. It has to be organic apple cider, unfiltered. Two tablespoons. For some reason I’ve noticed a difference on my stomach.”

Fergie is desperate to have children and is already planning to turn to pop star pal Gwen Stefani for baby advice.

The singer wants to work on starting a family as soon as she weds actor fiance Josh Duhamel, but admits she knows nothing about babies – so she’ll consult as many starry moms as possible for tips.

Fergie says, “I’d like to ask Gwen (Stefani), because she’s really done a great job.”
But she insists there’s no way she could perform while she’s expecting – like Stefani and new moms such as Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera did.

She adds, “I don’t want to be touring… I know I don’t want that. Because I get way too physical onstage. I don’t think I could hold myself back. And I would just be scared to hurt the baby. I’d take time off to read books about having babies, because I have no idea about that. I’ve never really changed a diaper.”

For Mother’s Day this year, Fergie has something special planned for her mom, Terri.

She’s retiring her from her work life and hopes to give her mother a life of luxury.

She says, “I’m actually retiring my mom this year, so next year she doesn’t have to go to work. I wanted to give back because she took me to all those auditions for all of those years. It’s the least I could do.”

Fergie and fiance Josh Duhamel are getting married, but not starting a family just yet.

Despite rumors to the contrary, Fergie is “not preggers,” her rep tells Usmagazine.com.

“It’s not true,” adds Duhamel’s rep. “She is not pregnant.”

The “Glamourous” singer, 32, and the Las Vegas actor, 35, got engaged in December after three years of dating.

The couple have been inseparable for some time. “We’re practically married,” Fergie has said.
