Fergie made a new friend as she checked into the Hotel Monaco in Seattle.
In town to perform at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center, “she walked into the lobby,” an observer tells us, “and was making a beeline for the elevator, but then she stopped at the concierge desk when she saw a dog walking through.”
Fergie then ran over to pet the pooch. “It was cute,” the observer says. “She was actually ‘oohing’ and ‘ahhing.’”

It seems Fergie is already gearing up for her role as a prostitute in the movie musical Nine this fall.
A pal of the “Fergalicious” singer, who will star opposite Daniel Day-Lewis, reveals that she owns a variety of sexy costumes that she uses to play dress up for fiancé Josh Duhamel in the bedroom.
Among the characters she becomes: a police officer, a dominatrix and a nurse. When Fergie, 33, showed Josh, 35, her French maid outfit, he joked, “Oh, good, you’re finally gonna clean your closet!”
A pal of the stunning couple, who are taking their time planning their upcoming wedding, tells OK!, “Fergie could not stop laughing. She says not taking themselves too seriously is the key to their relationship — and the fact that they can’t keep their hands off each other doesn’t hurt either!”
Even though Fergie isn’t shy about telling OK! about her plans in the bedroom, she likes to stay private about wedding plans. “That’s the one thing I can keep secret in my life,” she coyly explains.

In her first significant leading role on the big screen, Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas has been cast as one of the final puzzle pieces in Rob Marshall’s ensemble musical, “Nine” for The Weinstein Company, Access Hollywood has learned exclusively. The casting will be announced Friday.
While there are several female leads in the film, including Academy Award winners Kate Hudson (announced Wednesday), Nicole Kidman, Sophia Loren and Marion Cotillard, as well as Academy Award nominee Penelope Cruz, Fergie’s role will be significant.
The musical revolves around the women in the life of the male lead character, Guido Contini, who will be played by two-time Academy Award winner Daniel Day-Lewis. The show is loosely based on the life of Italian director Federico Fellini, and inspired by his masterpiece, “8 ½.” “Nine” opened on Broadway in 1982 and was revived starring (amongst others) Antonio Banderas (and later, John Stamos), Mary Stuart Masterson, Jane Krakowski, Chita Rivera and Laura Benanti.
Fergie has had smaller roles on the big screen in recent years, including 2007’s “Grindhouse” and 2006’s “Poseidon.” She began her acting career on the small screen on the show “Kids Incorporated.”
“Nine” begins shooting in October.

Fergie is making girls around the world salivate with jealousy after actor Mario Lopez revealed she was the lucky girl to steal his first kiss.
The pair starred together as children in 1980s popular series Kids Incorporated before their careers took off, and began dating when Lopez was a mere ten-years-old.
But the actor – recently awarded People magazine’s Hottest Bachelor in 2008 – admits he’s not ashamed to boast of his famous first liaison, because stardom hasn’t changed Fergie’s charming ways.
He tells the magazine, “I’m very proud of my first kiss! It was with Fergie… She says there was no tongue… She like to point out that I was very smooth because I bought her perfume. She has stayed just as sweet as when we were kids.”
