Fergie & Josh Duhamel at Bumberfest in Seattle, 9/3

I still can’t figure out what he sees in her. Josh Duhamel is hot and I just don’t think they make a cute couple. What do you think?

“I know this sounds strange, but I like seeing him in love scenes. It makes me feel better when I’m away on tour to see him kiss other women. It reminds me of our own kisses, and what I have to look forward to. He [Josh Duhamel] says it’s strange, but I don’t think so.”
Hmmm, that’s sort of an interesting comment. I guess Fergie isn’t the jealous type. Good for her!

Fergie has just made a deal with Candie’s for $4 million to sing about the brand. The songs are supposedly going to be on her second solo album, but so far no word on the release date of that or if it’s even in the works.
An executive at Fergie’s record label Interscope said:
“With record sales in decline, you must find novel ways to make money out of the music. The trick is to make the brand part of the song so that it slips down easily rather than chokes the fan. Candie’s will reach teens, but it has no say over exactly what Fergie will sing, or when. Fans might think she is just singing about candy. But it’s got to work in the song. Fergie does not sing jingles.”
Record sales in decline or not, a cool $4 mil is a pretty generous number especially since I doubt Fergie herself will actually sit down and write the songs. Ferg has also said that she is not done singing with the Black Eyed Peas either, so we shouldn’t count her out of any projects that may be in the works with them as well! Busy busy girl!

Prince Harry kicked off the Concert for Diana with the words: “Hello, Wembley!”
William and brother Harry took to the stage in front of a 63,000-strong crowd at Wembley Stadium at the start of the special event they have organised in memory of their mother, on what would have been her 46th birthday.
Sir Elton John opened the event with a performance of Your Song before introducing the two princes, who entered to a standing ovation.
“This event is about all that our mother loved in life – her music, her dancing, her charities and her family and friends,” said William, 25. “We just want you to have an awesome time and enjoy the line-up.”
Harry said: “It’s great to see so many of you here supporting this very special show.”
And the 22-year-old royal couldn’t resist cracking a gag.
“When William and I first had the idea we forgot we would end up standing here desperately trying to think of something funny to say. We’ll leave that to the funny people – and Ricky Gervais,” he quipped.
The princes were watched by Harry’s girlfriend Chelsy Davy and William’s former girlfriend Kate Middleton, who helped them to organise the event.
The concert marks the 10th anniversary of Diana’s death and features a line-up of acts including Lily Allen, Take That, Kanye West and Sir Tom Jones.
The princes introduced one of their mother’s favourite bands, Eighties heart-throbs Duran Duran, before taking their seats in the royal box.
