Evangeline Lilly falls in love with strangers.

The ‘Lost’ actress – who is been dating her co-star Dominic Monaghan since they met on set in 2004 – finds it so easy to love others she can fall for people she doesn’t know, as well as believing you can be romantically involved with two people at once.

She explained: “I have such a huge capacity for love. I have always had a really hard time not loving people. I can meet a complete stranger and feel love for them. So for me, I can imagine loving two different people – but I don’t think I have the capacity for that because it would require so much of me. Everyone else seems to believe it is possible, so who am I to question this? If everyone says you can love two people, then you can love two people.”

Reportedly, Dominic Monaghan and Evangeline Lilly are finally ready to say I do!

After an aborted plan to marry two years ago, the on-again/off-again couple is so serious this time about saying “I do” that they recently invited Dominic’s parents to join them in Las Vegas – so they could get their blessing, say friends.

“Dominic and Evangeline have decided that now is the time to make it official,” revealed an insider. “They’ve been through breakups and makeups and feel that their love has stood the test of time.”

Dominic’s parent’s “couldn’t have been happier” with their plans to marry.

Did Lost’s Evangeline Lilly accidentally diss Angelina Jolie?

Asked in the new issue of Women’s Health which Hollywood A-lister she admires most, Lilly says Jolie.

Why?

“No one knows that woman; she’s a complete ice queen, which is perfect,” she explains. “Why should she be any more? She doesn’t owe us anything.”

Lily adds that Lost producers have told her that she hasn’t picked up on the opportunity to become a big movie star like Jolie.

“It frustrates [them] that they’ve given me this chance to become the next Angelina,” she says. “Sure, I’d love to be her, but just the humanitarian side.”

Lilly tells the magazine that being an actress is not her “ultimate dream.”

“Even if you’re unhappy, just pretend that you’re happy,” she says of her mindset. “Eventually, your smile will be contagious to yourself. I had to learn that – I used to think, ‘I’m being fake,’ but you know what? Better to be fake and happy than real and miserable.”

Lilly also refused to comment on reports about dating her former costar Dominic Monaghan.

“If I were to tell you that Sandra Miggum and Henry Pickett are dating, would you ever care?” she says. “They’re completely fictional, so you don’t know them.”

“Well, people don’t know us,” she adds. “So why should they care?”

Evangeline Lilly stars in the movie, Afterwards, with John Malkovich and Romain Duris. The supernatural thriller is directed by Gilles Bourdos and was shot in Montreal and New York.

The movie is based on the Guillaume Musso novel “Et apres ….”

In the movie Duris plays Nathan, a workaholic lawyer drifting away from his daugher and ex-wife, played by Evangeline Lilly. He meets a mysterious doctor, played by Malovich, who claims that he can sense when certain people are about to die, and that he is sent to help them put their life in order before it’s too late. Nathan doesn’t believe a word of this, but soon afterwards he witnesses some disconcerting scenes which seem to confirm the doctor’s claims.
