Eva Longoria has called out to the press - begging journalists to “chill out” about reports she is expecting her first child with husband Tony Parker.

Longoria has issued a string of public denials since putting on the pounds for her role in hit U.S. TV series Desperate Housewives sparked rumors of her alleged pregnancy.

She says, “I wish people would just chill out. You’ll know when it happens… It’s funny because bloggers are like, ‘Oh, Eva is wearing baggy clothes.’ It’s not like I dressed like a hoochie mama before!”

And though she continues to deny the pregnancy, Longoria admits she will keep the public waiting months after she discovers she’s expecting.

She adds, “You just don’t say anything for health reasons. You just want to make sure everything’s okay.”

Leave it to the ladies of Wisteria Lane to weigh in on neighborhood gossip.

Eva Longoria Parker’s Desperate Housewives costar, Felicity Huffman, is putting those pregnancy rumors to rest.

“She’s just fat, that’s all there is to it!” Huffman, 45, told People about Longoria Parker at Saturday’s re-opening of the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles.

Rumors of a pregnancy for Longoria Parker, 33, and her husband, Tony Parker, have been circulating all summer after the actress wore a loose-fitting sundress on a shopping trip and later debuted a fuller-than-normal bikini body in July.

Longoria Parker says she can’t wait to have children, but her fuller figure is all for the sake of her role as Gabby on Housewives.

In addition to putting on weight for the role, Longoria Parker will also don a fat suit this season to play an overworked housewife when the show’s storyline jumps ahead five years.

“She looks cute,” Huffman said of a fat-suited Longoria Parker. “But she’s always like, ‘Feel my ass! Feel my ass!’ All the jokes [on set] are Eva and her fat suit.”

Eva Longoria Parker certainly knows how to keep the gossips guessing.

On Friday, the actress hit Las Vegas clad in an Empire-waist babydoll dress. She snacked on edamame instead of sushi or anything else raw at the grand opening of Yellowtail Sushi Restaurant and drank only nonalcoholic bevvies.

Later that evening, at Pure nightclub, the Desperate Housewives star sipped Fiji water as Wilmer Valderrama and the Hilton sisters did shots of Patrón.

While she did recently cop to putting on pounds for her character’s storyline, all these signs seem to indicate Eva might be expecting.

Her rep didn’t return a request for comment—so let the bumpwatch continue!
