News broke not too long ago that actor Ethan Hawke was preparing to become a father for the fourth time, but now we know that he will be welcoming a daughter with wife Ryan Shawhughes. This will be Ethan’s third daughter, whom he will be welcoming into the family this summer.

“Ethan is thrilled that he is going to be having another girl,” a source close to Ethan tells Life & Style. “He loves little girls. This will be his third.”

Ethan was previously married to actress Uma Thurman, with whom he has two children: Maya, 14 and Levon, 9. The couple divorced in 2004 after being married for six years. Ethan’s current wife Ryan, whom he wed in 2008, once worked as the nanny to Ethan and Uma’s children.

“I think Uma is really happy for Ethan,” the source tells Life & Style. “She likes that he’s such a great father to their two kids.[...]Ethan and Ryan are doing really well. They are a cool, low-key couple and are easy to get along with.”

Ethan Hawke’s wife, Ryan Shawhughes, is pregnant with the couple’s second child, a source close to the actor confirms to Us Weekly.

Shawhughes – who wed Hawke in 2008 and welcomed daughter Clementine in July of that year – is “five months along, totally showing,” another insider tells Us. “They don’t know the gender, but…Clementine really wants a little brother!”

Adds the second source of Shawhughes: “She’s got an adorable little basketball belly!”

Hawke also has two kids with ex-wife Uma Thurman, whom he divorced in 2004.

Hawke’s rep does not comment on his personal life.

It’s another girl for Ethan Hawke!

The actor and his wife, Ryan Shawhughes, welcomed a daughter on Friday, a rep for the star confirms. Clementine Jane Hawke was born in New York City and is the first child for the couple.

The duo quietly wed mid-June, five months after announcing their pregnancy.

Clementine is the third child for Ethan. The 37-year-old is dad to Maya, 10, and Levon, 6, his kids with ex-wife Uma Thurman. Ryan used to nanny for the children.

Uma, 38, has moved on as well — she recently got engaged to millionaire Arpad Busson.

His new wife, Ryan Shawhughes, was in a New York hospital this morning giving birth to the couple’s baby, Star has learned exclusively.

It will be Ethan’s third child.

Ryan was nanny to Maya and Roan, the two children from his marriage to Uma Thurman that ended in 2004. Ethan and Ryan married in New York last month. Last month, Uma also announced her engagement to financier Arpad “Arki” Busson.
