Baby Spice Emma Bunton is considering following in the footsteps of her bandmate Melanie Brown and embarking on a U.S. TV career.
Brown has been enjoying a higher profile in America since she wowed audiences with her performance on reality show Dancing With The Stars last year. And Bunton, who took part in the British version of the hit show, is keen to follow her pal to the U.S. now that the Spice Girls have finished their global reunion tour.
She says, “I’m probably going to go back to America for a little while and spend some time there. I would love to do some TV.” And Bunton is not the only one eying a career change - her longterm partner, former Damage singer Jade Jones, is considering another business venture for the couple. He adds, “I’m a chef so hopefully one day we’ll be in the restaurant business.”

Emma Bunton took a spill on stage while performing with The Spice Girls.
“I had a tumble on stage and unfortunately I have sprained my ankle,” Bunton said. “So I’m hobbling around on crutches.”
But as the Spice Girls were photographed Wednesday night with their Virgin Atlantic tour jet – newly christened “Spice One” – Bunton was able to look glamorous with her new accessories.
A rep confirmed that the mishap occurred during the group’s Monday night show in Las Vegas.
Bunton, who recently admitted she gets carried away on stage, said she is confident she’ll make “a speedy recovery” before their next show. The quintet begins a highly anticipated string of London appearances Dec. 15.
I hope she gets better!

THE REST AFTER THE JUMP! (more…)

Seven years after splitting up, the Spice Girls have announced a worldwide comeback spectacular.
The girl band will kick off a world tour in America. The five - now all in their thirties - will start on 7 December in Los Angeles - the new home of Posh Spice Victoria Beckham and her family
The group, including Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton fell straight back in sync, striking familiar poses for the world’s media.
The reunion tour, which is set to hit London on December 15 and take in Madrid, Koln, Las Vegas, Sydney, Cape Town and Buenos Aires among others will certainly be lucrative for the Spices.
They are expected to pocket about $20 million each.
Mel C said of their reunion: “We wanted to say thank you to our fans. It just feels very right for us.”

Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton is pregnant with her first child.
“I guess I will be handing over the ‘Baby’ tag now to a deserving little new owner,” the 31-year-old known as Baby Spice said in a statement.
Bunton and boyfriend Jade Jones, 27, a former member of the British boy band Damage, have been together for eight years. They moved in together to a five-bedroom home in north London in 2005.
“We are so happy, it’s unbelievable news,” the couple said in a statement. “What a great start to the New Year.” The baby’s due date or sex was not revealed.
In 2000, Bunton had to have pre-cancerous cells removed from her cervix. Last year, she revealed she’d been diagnosed with endometriosis, a painful condition in which the lining of the uterus begins growing in other areas of the body, making it difficult to conceive.
In December, she told the U.K.’s The Mirror that she hoped to have a baby of her own, but feared she might not be able. “Obviously I’d like to try for my own first,” she said. “But I would be open to adoption.”
Bunton, who came in third in last year’s BBC show Strictly Come Dancing, recently reached No. 3 in the U.K. charts with her version of Petula Clark’s 1960s hit “Downtown.” And she’s not the only pregnant former Spice Girl – Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown, who was romantically linked to Eddie Murphy, is expecting her second child in the spring. (She has a 7-year-old daughter, Phoenix Chi, with ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar.)
Bunton’s new baby will join the rest of the growing Spice Girl brood: Geri Halliwell gave birth to her first child, Bluebell Madonna, eight months ago and Victoria Beckham has three children: Brooklyn, 7, Romeo, 4, and Cruz, who turns 2 on Feb. 20.
