Eminem opens up in the new issue of Rolling Stone!

Contributing Rolling Stone editor Josh Eells sits down with Eminem at his Detroit recording studio for a revealing interview about the rapper’s long battle with prescription drugs, his difficulties with women and the pain of being abandoned by his father at six months old, as well as his incredible musical comeback and his quest to score the highest score in the history of Donkey Kong.

Do you think it’s hard for you to trust women?

I have trust issues. With women, friends, whatever. You always wonder what their real motives are. I’ve got a small circle of friends, and it’s a lot of the same friends I’ve known forever. Right now, that works for me. I came out of some difficult things these past couple of years. I kind of feel like I’m just now finding my footing. So I want to make sure that’s secure before I go out and do anything else. I need to keep working on myself for a while.

What about your love life? Do you date?

Not really. As far as going out, like dinner and a movie—I just can’t. Going out in public is just too crazy. I mean, I’d like to be in a relationship again someday. Who doesn’t? It’s just hard to meet new people, in my position.

This issue is available on newstands Friday, as well online in Rolling Stone’s digital archive. Click here to subscribe.

WTF? Eminem doesn’t cuss?

If I ever thought anyone in this world would have a potty mouth, I would have expected it to be Eminem. But according to what the 38 year old father-of-four told Anderson Cooper in a 60 Minutes interview, airing Sunday, he does not allow cussing in his home.

“I’m a parent. I have daughters. I mean, how would I really sound, as a person … walking around my house [saying], ‘Bitch, pick this up,’ you know what I mean? … I don’t cuss.”

Asked if he feels a sense of responsibility when his young fans use the cuss words he spews his songs, the rapper says, “I feel like it’s your job to parent them. If you’re the parent, be a parent.”

He also takes Cooper through the rapping process he uses to rhyme words.

His biggest beef?

“People say that the word orange doesn’t rhyme with anything and that kind of pisses me off,” he says. “I can think of a lot of things that rhyme with orange.”

Good job Eminem! I am glad to hear, and shocked, that he doesn’t allow cursing in his house.

Check out Eminem and Rihanna in ‘Love the Way You Lie’

Here is the highly anticipated music video for Eminem’s new song Love the Way You Lie, featuring Rihanna. The music video stars Megan Fox (who reportedly donated her fee for the video to a Sojourn House, a shelter for abused women).

People has the details on this video:

Tackling a subject she knows all too well, Rihanna takes on domestic violence by being featured in an Eminem video starring Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan as a couple stuck in a cycle of fighting, drinking, shoplifting and pyromania.

In the video, Rihanna, 22, sings outside a house that bursts into flames while a couple – Fox and Monaghan – alternately physically abuse and kiss each other. In a field of yellow grass, meanwhile, Eminem raps in his signature undershirt (yes, a “wifebeater”).

As the song progresses, the couple go to a bar, play manipulative emotional games, beat the tar out of a rival for Fox’s affections, steal booze, and then take the boxing match back to their home, which is one of several things that spontaneously combust, presumably a metaphor for the emotional trauma the characters are suffering.

“[Director] Joseph [Kahn] and I worked pretty closely together to make sure we got this right,” said Eminem, 37. “Trying to make this tough subject work visually is a challenge. It was great to have Rihanna, Megan and Dominic on board for this. They really brought it and made this video super-powerful.”

And The Nominees For The MTV VMA’s Are…

The MTV VMA’s are coming up soon. September 12, 2110 to be exact and the nominees have been announce. Lady Gaga has been nominated for an impressive 13 VMA’s.

Eminem is a close second with 8 nominations for his album Recovery.

Lady Gaga had this to say about her 13 nominations.

“I’m so honored for all the little monsters and self-professed freaks of the universe, to have more VMA nominations in a single year than any artist in MTV history,” she said. “Ironically, I’m even more proud it’s an unlucky number: 13.”

“A long time ago the world told me and my little monsters we would never be heard, together we changed the rules,” she went on. “God put me on Earth for three reasons: to make loud music, gay videos and cause a damn raucous. Thank you, MTV!”

Eminem also had a statement, although his was, er, a little less enthusiastic.

“Apparently MTV doesn’t care that I have two massive stadium shows on the other side of the country the day after the VMAs. F me, right?!?! I mean, I’ll be there, but don’t expect me to be nice about it.”

Ke$ha recieved 3 nominations and was beyond thrilled. Here’s what she had to say.
