Now that she has been eating for two Elle Pompeo has been making quite a few trips to Whole Foods in Los Angeles, CA. The mother to be showed off her growing baby bump as she left the super market on July 1, 2009 looking as radiant as ever.

Record producer Chris Ivery and “Grey’s Anatomy” starlet Ellen Pompeo have only been married since November 2007, but have things already gone sour between the two Hollywood lovers?

Pop Tarts spotted Ivery — who is expecting a child with Pompeo — at Diddy’s Last Train to Paris Launch Party Presented by CÎROC at Hollywood hotspot MyHouse on Saturday evening, without his wedding ring.

“He was smoking and chatting with girls everywhere,” added an eyewitness.

Another inside source told Tarts that he seemed to be “on the prowl” and was in engaged in what seemed to be a very deep and intense conversation with a voluptuous brunette for most of the evening.

“He came in around 11 p.m. and straight away was scoping out hotties everywhere,” said a partygoer. “And this isn’t the first time this he’s done this …”

The two (who both grew up close to each other in Boston but didn’t meet until 2003 through a mutual friend) were spotted earlier that day checking out their new family-appropriate Hollywood Hills home which is currently undergoing renovations. We’re told the heavily-pregnant actress and her hubby certainly didn’t put on any PDAs and seemed to stand a significant distance from one another.

Reps for the couple did not respond for comment.

Ellen Pompeo is all smiles today as she shops and sports her baby-bump in West Hollywood with a male friend. The “Grey’s Anatomy” star stopped into Joan’s on Third and checked out furniture at Cisco Home. Her pregnancy with her husband Chris Ivery was announced earlier in April.

The petite actress couldn’t have appeared more ecstatic, and seems to be happily embracing her new found curves!

“It’s great news,” says Allen. “They’re ecstatic.”

The Grey’s Anatomy star, 39, and Ivery, 41, a music producer, were married by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg in a low-key ceremony in November 2007. The couple met in a grocery store in 2003 and began dating six months later.

Pompeo, who’s recently been spotted shopping for baby gear around Los Angeles, is not the only Seattle Grace doctor having a baby in real life: Costar Chyler Leigh and her husband, Nathan West, are expecting her third child, a girl, in May.
