Michelle Dockery and Elizabeth Moss Are Heading to the Beach

Audi Celebrates Emmys Week 2014

Downton Abbey stunner, Michelle Dockery, has signed on to join Mad Men star, Elizabeth Moss, in the indie film Queen of Earth.  The psychological thriller will show Moss and Dockery as two childhood friends who escape to a beach house and suspicions and doubts come to a head.

I love both of these women and think they are scene stealers in each of their respective shows.  Dockery has received her third Emmy nomination for lead actress this year for her role as Lady Mary Crawley in the British period drama.  I can’t wait for season 5 to kick off on January!

Dockery has another thriller coming out next spring, Selfless, that will costar Ryan Reynolds and Ben Kingsley.  Moss is filming the science-fiction film, High-Rise, which also includes Sienna Miller, Jeremy Irons, and Tom Hiddleston.  She’s also set to star in Meadowland, a drama about a mother’s healing process when her son disappears.  The film will also star Olivia Wilde, Juno Temple, Luke Wilson, and Natasha Lyonne.

I love her I love her I love her!  And I love her shoes.

The Ladies Of ‘Mad Men’ Out On The Town

Ladies Of "Mad Men" Leave An LA Screening

The bombshells of AMC’s ‘Mad Men’ were out in Hollywood last night at the Landmark Theatre.  What a bevy of beautiful women!  Elizabeth Moss looks so nice right?  She just looks so… friendly?  And Christina Hendricks is such a babe.  She really is so hot- but I wish she would get herself a proper stylist.  Her body is something out of a cartoon but she rarely seems to get it… right… Maybe I just hate jumpsuits.  How’s everyone liking the final season?

Elisabeth Moss says her marriage to Fred Armisen was “extremely traumatic”

The beautiful Elisabeth Moss lands the latest cover of New York Magazine. The ‘Mad Men’ actress is set to reprise her role as Peggy Olsen in the upcoming seventh season of the AMC hit. In the new magazine, Elisabeth opens up about her short marriage to SNL comedian Fred Armison.

Elisabeth, 31, told the magazine that her marriage experience was “extremely traumatic.”

“Looking back, I feel like I was really young, and at the time I didn’t think that I was that young,” Moss said of her relationship with Saturday Night Live star Armisen, which ended in divorce in 2010 after just eight months together. “It was extremely traumatic and awful and horrible,” she continued.

Since their divorce, Armisen gave a frank interview to Howard Stern in January 2013 in which he admitted to being a “terrible husband.” (The SNL and Portlandia star, now 47, has been married and divorced three times.)

Armisen’s comments came close to one year after his ex-wife gave a 2012 interview about how he treated her during their marriage. “One of the greatest things I heard someone say about him is, ‘He’s so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person.'” she shared of the performer.

Despite the tumultuous history with her ex, Moss has since reclaimed her power starring on the award-winning historical drama series. Back in January, the star took home a Best Actress Golden Globe for her performance as Olson opposite Jon Hamm’s Don Draper. “At the same time, it turned out for the best,” Moss told NY Mag. “I’m glad that I’m not there. I’m glad that it didn’t happen when I was 50. I’m glad I didn’t have kids. And I got that out of the way. Hopefully. Like, that’s probably not going to happen again.”

Despite being tabloid fodder herself post-divorce, Moss added in her interview that she ultimately understood why America was so intrigued by stars. “I enjoy a little gossip,” she confessed. “I like looking at photos of celebrities going to Starbucks.”
