What do you do when the $12 million estate you just bought isn’t up to your standards? If your Tiger Woods‘ ex-wife Elin Nordegren, you demolish the whole thing, hire an architect, and start all over.

Elin bought the 9,000 square foot North Palm Beach home in March … right after she struck a $100 million divorce settlement with Tiger Woods.

Apparently, Elin felt the modest 6 bedroom, 8 bathroom pad wasn’t quite up to her standards … so she did the only reasonable thing — KNOCKED THE WHOLE PLACE DOWN!

We’re told Nordegren has hired a high-priced architect to build her dream home … and sources say every single worker is required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Though there’s no word on how long it’s going to take for the new home to be built, it’s not like Elin is suffering in some hotel somewhere. She’s rented a mansion in a nearby private community until it’s completed.

There are a few perks of being the ex-wife of a philandering multi-millionaire. Gold great Tiger Woods‘ ex-wife, Elin Nordegren purchased a $12.2 million mansion in Palm Beach, Flor., in February. The enormous 17,000 square foot complex is only 10 miles south of Tiger’s place in Jupiter Island.

It seems like Tiger still can’t catch a break; his $60 million home is almost five times as expensive, but Elin has double the space, including a 4,700 basement! Seriously!?

The home reportedly was built in 1932, and has eight bathrooms. EIGHT BATHROOMS!?

After her highly publicized divorce from golfing legend Tiger Woods, we’re hearing that Elin Nordegren may want to jump back into the fire! (With a new guy, of course)

Is it too soon?

She’s already said to be dating a South African college student, who she was said to be growing closer to. A close pal of Elin’s said, “Elin is a home type gal and loves being with her children, so she may be more eager to remarry than she should be at this point.”

The friend also revealed that Elin is also eager to have more kids.

Since her split from Tiger Woods, Elin Nordegren has kept pretty low-key. But we’re hearing reports that she has a new man in her life.

Reportedly, Elin is dating a South African student at a Florida college. After Tiger’s string of affairs, Elin has kept almost mum, except to say that was embarrassed.

Now, a close friend of hers is saying that she’s been dating a fellow student. The friend said, “There’s been kissing and cuddling, but I don’t know if it’s gone further.”

Tiger Woods ex-wife Elin Nordegren has finally broken her silence, nearly a year after the scandal broke. She tells PEOPLE she was “blindsided” and “embarrassed”.

“I’ve been through hell” she says. While her divorce was finalized on Monday, she said they tried for months to make it work. In the end, she decided she couldn’t trust him, and she was no longer in love with him. “Initially, I thought we had a chance, and we tried really hard. I felt stupid as more things were revealed — how could I not have known anything? The word ‘betrayal’ isn’t strong enough.”

Even after all she’s been through, Elin still won’t trash Woods. She says “I wish him all the best in the future, as a person and as an athlete,” she says. “I know he is going to go down as the best golfer that ever lived, and rightfully so. I feel privileged to have witnessed a part of his golfing career.”

The interview took place over 19 hours at a home she’s rented in Windermere, Florida. Nordegren shared never-before-seen personal photographs with the magazine, and opened up about the emotional roller coaster she’s been on.

Of the affairs, Elin says she was completely blindsided. “I never suspected, not a one,” Elin says of Tiger’s many affairs, which included porn stars and Rachel Uchitel. “For the last three-and-a-half years, when all this was going on, I was home a lot more with pregnancies, then the children and my school.”

At first it was rumored that Elin would receive $750 million in her divorce from Tiger, 34 (he’s worth an estimated $1 billion). Sources now say that Elin will actually walk away with closer to $100 million. “Money can’t buy happiness,” Elin says, “or put my family back together.”

So what’s next for Elin, 30, and her two children Sam, 3, and Charlie, 19 months. “My immediate plan is for the kids and me to continue to adjust to our new situation. I am going to keep taking classes, but my main focus is to try to give myself time to heal,” she says.

She tells PEOPLE that this is her first – and last – interview, she intends to remain a private person.

Tiger Woods is giving up the Orlando home he and soon-to-be ex-wife Elin Woods once shared. This is all a part of the couples multi-million dollar divorce settlement.

At first Elin was planning on taking the nearly finished home in Jupiter, Florida. She has close friends in the area so it made since. But she later changed her mind and decided to go with the Orlando home.

“Elin had planned a trip in July but postponed it,” the source said.

“Things were being worked out.”

“It looks like Tiger is going to make the Jupiter home his permanent residence,” the source told RadarOnline.com.

“It’s got a state of the art gym and was built to his specs. And it keeps him just a few hour drive from his children.”

The Windemere home was the location of the best and worst times of the couple’s marriage.

Tiger and Elin lived in the luxury gated community with their two children until Tiger’s secret life of serial cheating was exposed.

Elin may move back into the Windemere home or sell it, the source said.

“She hasn’t lived there in more than a year and that home has good and bad memories for her,” the source told RadarOnline.com.

“She hasn’t told anyone if she’s going to keep it or sell it. But one thing is for sure, she will walk away from the marriage with enough money to do whatever she wants.”

Making this even harder on Elin was finding out that Tiger had an affair with a neighbor’s 21 year old daughter.

In the early morning hours after Thanksgiving last year, Elin confronted Tiger about his affairs. After the confrontation he drove into a hedge and a tree.

Tiger went to rehab, but the marriage could not be saved as more and more affairs were revealed in the press.

Tiger and Elin are moving forward with their divorce, and sources claim they both agree to shared custody of their two children together.

They have not been getting along as a married couple but there has been no conflict over the children,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “They both want what’s best for the kids.

“This isn’t going to get ugly. They’ve both made sure of that.”

Tiger and Elin have been separate for some time, with Elin and the children living in a rented home a mile away from the home she used to share with Tiger in Florida.

According to RadarOnline, at one point, Elin may have been considering getting back together with Tiger after the scandal broke. But then Tiger messed it all up when he returned to golf, a move she considered too soon and wasn’t committed to building a new relationship with her.
