HBO wants Edward Norton’s Obama documentary

Edward Norton

HBO is reportedly on the brink of snatching up the rights to a “behind-the-scenes documentary” about Barack Obama, says the New York Post.

The paper says the unfinished doc’s cameras have been rolling for almost two years, and it’s being produced by none other than ‘The Incredible Hulk’ star Edward Norton.

HBO reportedly wants to air the film “within the first 100 days” of Obama’s presidency, if he wins, that is.

Liv Tyler intimidated by Edward Norton’s hot bod

Liv Tyler

Liv Tyler dreaded shooting romantic scenes with her Hulk co-star Edward Norton - because she felt the actor’s lean physique put her own to shame.

The Fight Club star toned up for his role as Bruce Banner, the mild-mannered scientist who transforms into the raging green monster.

And Tyler, who plays Banner’s girlfriend Betty, was so intimidated by his svelte stature, she didn’t want to be filmed standing next to him.

She says, “There were points when I was like, ‘Wait! We cannot do this love scene because his body looks so much more beautiful than mine!’”

Edward Norton wants Hollywood to be more green

Edward Norton

Eco-friendly actor Edward Norton celebrated Earth Day today by encouraging the movie industry to be more green.

Norton, the son of a green activist, insists the entertainment community has set a good example by embracing environmentally-friendly practices. But he wants Hollywood to do more.

He says, “I think the studios are doing their part. Not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because it’s cost effective. They need to look at the way films get made. There’s a lot of waste in the way we make films.”

The Fight Club star narrates environmental series Strange Days on Planet Earth, which airs on U.S. TV network PBS on Tuesday evening.

Edward Norton behaves like a Hulk

Edward Norton

They might want to create a new Oscar for Edward Norton: Hollywood’s Biggest Pain in the Butt.

Word is Norton is warring with Marvel Studios over the final cut of “The Incredible Hulk,” which he wrote and stars in, but is threatening not to promote. The temperamental star’s rep denied any serious friction, insisting: “Edward was brought on board by Marvel as a producer, screenwriter and actor, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that he has a lot of creative input into the post-production process.

His deal was for all three and he takes those roles seriously.” She would not elaborate on Norton’s issues. The Oscar-nominated actor has a reputation for being difficult.

Tony Kaye, who directed him in “American History X,” charged Norton re-edited the flick to give himself more screen time. And screenwriter/director Joe Eszterhas once cracked: “You don’t want Edward Norton to star in your movie. He now rewrites all the scripts he agrees to act in.”

Universal Pictures, distributor of “Hulk,” which debuts nationwide on June 13, had no comment.

Edward Norton in The Incredible Hulk

The new Incredible Hulk movie stars Edward Norton as David Banner, a scientist who is trying to discover a cure for the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and turns him into the Hulk.

I’ll see it just for Ed Norton, he’s hot.
