Drew Barrymore is making the promotional rounds for her new movie, Going the Distance which comes out on Friday. I think it looks really cute, can’t wait to see it!

So are they – or aren’t they a couple? Justin Long and Drew Barrymore continue to make us guess at the premiere of their new movie, Going the Distance in Hollywood last night. They sure looked cozy! I hope they are still together, I think they make the cutest couple. They have great on-screen chemistry!

In Going the Distance, they play a couple who are trying to make a long-distance relationship work. They recently talked about their first on-screen kiss.

“I just was lucky, for me, because he’s a good kisser,” Barrymore said. “So I was like, ‘Phew! Thank God.’ It’s the worst when you’re kissing someone who’s not a good kisser, and you’re trying to make it look good, and you feel like you’re just working on your own. At least it was a real team effort.”

Their characters meet at a bar, so they’re already buzzed. By the end of the night, they’re drunk, they smoke some pot and then they kiss.

“The first kiss for us in the movie was very sloppy,” Long said. “We were stoned and it was just so easy to do, we’re so comfortable. I think you just hope that you’re invested in the scene, hopefully, and sometimes it can be a surprise when you’ve never kissed anyone before you’ve just met recently, and people have different ways with kissing, and sometimes it can be very jarringly uncomfortable. There can be very little movement involved, and then a quick, sudden movement from the tongue that you don’t expect.”

Going the Distance is in theaters September 3. (I can’t wait to see this!)

Drew looks so skinny!

She’s out there right now promoting her new movie, Going the Distance with on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Long. They play a couple who meet and fall in love over the summer in New York, but when she returns home in San Francisco, the two try and have a successful long-distance relationship.

Drew and Justin met three years ago on the set of He’s Just Not That Into You, and dated for about a year before breaking up. They reunited early last year, but neither will confirm if they’re still dating.

Justin Long once had a childhood crush on Christina Applegate. So finding out he was going to be doing full frontal nudity in front of Christina in the new film Going The Distance was a bit weird and intimidating for him.

“I was sort of exposing myself to someone I grew up watching. Really weird,” the actor, 32, told UsMagazine.com at the film’s London premiere Friday. “And while we were shooting! I’m kidding.”

The actor admitted that he isn’t used to having so much attention on his body.

“There was an element of vanity that came into play that I wasn’t really used to with the other roles I have done,” he said.

So how did Long prep for the nerve-wracking scene?

“I had a very complicated procedure: nipple enlargement surgery. I did!” he joked. “I had very tiny nipples. They’re like freckles.”

Kidding aside, Long said he had a blast filming the movie with Drew Barrymore (who he’s been dating off-and-on for several years) — and even began to see her in a new light.

“She’s so funny, insanely funny. But I also got to see a side of her during this movie, which I hadn’t seen, because I’d never known her in a professional capacity. I got to see how she treated the people that she’s working with and it made her so much more beautiful,” Long told Us. “She’s lovely to everyone — to PA’s, studio people, no matter where you are in the hierarchy. It’s rare.”

I’m really looking forward to seeing this movie. I bet Justin Long and Drew Barrymore have great chemistry in this film. And of course Christina Applegate is always a treat to watch.

Drew on dating:

‘I’m happy to say that, at 35 years old, I feel I know less than ever,’ she says with a smile. ‘But in a liberating way. I’m trying to figure out how to make relationships work. The only thing I know is that there aren’t any rules. There should be no infrastructure on how a couple is supposed to work. Life isn’t like that.’

On computers, tweeting, etc.:

‘I just don’t like this compulsive, instantaneous, over- information, lack-of-privacy, weirdo aspect of the world,’ she says. ‘If you meet someone, they already know everything. What about showing up on the date and saying, “What do you do for a living? Who are your friends?” Yes, you can avoid maybe a serial killer, but who fucking knows? I am a romantic and it scares me…’

On love:

‘I’m not an aficionado on the subject right now,’ she admits. ‘Some of the things I thought were a certain way have revealed themselves to be quite different, so I feel very awake and very open-hearted and open-minded. I’d like to approach certain things differently. I feel like I’m learning a lot right now. I’m not the teacher, I’m the student – I want to try new things.’

On phone sex:

‘Oh, I’ve had successful phone sex – it can work,’ she says with a twinkle in her eye. ‘I think it’s f**king weird – it’s super weird. I totally tried it, though, with a little success at one point in my life, but it was just a thing you try, like wearing orange for a while. I don’t think it’s something I could live my life with. What makes me happy right now is something very tangible and that’s the people I know that I really, really like and love and get such a sense of happiness from. My tribe.’
