Drew Barrymore Might Be Getting Her Own Talk Show!

Rodeo Drive Walk Of Style 2012

Will Drew Barrymore be Ellen DeGeneres Jr.?

On Tuesday, the Blended actress was reportedly in talks with Warner Bros. and Ellen’s production company over a possible show development deal?!

Nobody from WB has commented on the news, but sources did say conversations have been ongoing despite the lack of confirmation. It’s said if the deal WERE to happen, the Finding Dory star would be an executive producer for Drew’s show.

Now, Drew has a long history with WB, seeing as she’s narrating the show version of 50 First Dates, but others are saying she might just want to produce (she’s already an EP  of the Esquire series Knife Fight and was an EP on VH1’s Tough Love). BUT, she’s also slated to star alongside Timothy Olyphant in the Netflix original Santa Clarita Diet, so she might not even have time.

The question is: would you watch Drew Barrymore host a talk show? Tell us why or why not in the comments section below!

Drew Barrymore And Will Kopelman Are Putting Their Kids First

Drew Barrymore's New Man Makes Her Laugh

Sounds like this divorce is going to be amicable…at least when it comes to the kids.

Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman are divorcing after nearly four years of marriage, but they’re going the Gwyneth Paltrow Chris Martin route, and making sure they are a close-kint family unit for the sake of their kids. Ah, the CHILDREN! Cool. I hope I get to peep some awkward vacation pics soon. Anyhow, nobody expects any kind of custody battle between the two. A close friend says:

“They fundamentally agree on everything when it comes to their girls,” a family source tells People.

While the former couple have spent time in both L.A. and New York City, they’ve agreed to keep their home base in the Big Apple, where Olive is enrolled in preschool, for the foreseeable future.

“Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority,” Barrymore and Kopelman told People.

No custody drama? Fine. I’m WAITING for some nanny to come forward, though…maybe? How funny would it be if DREW cheated with the nanny? Not funny at all? Ah, ok.

Drew Barrymore Probably Talked To Steven Spielberg About Her Divorce

Screen Shot 2016-04-04 at 7.55.23 PM

Yes, the big news is that Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman are getting divorced…but when you’re Drew, who you gonna call for marital counsel? Steven Friggin’ Spielberg, that’s who.

The actress talked to some reporter from Popsugar about her life very vaguely, and I guess also about wine (the interview was originally supposed to be strictly wine). Still, when this big of news hits ya, you gotta talk it out (even with randos, while sitting with wine). So Popsugar got some inside info about Drew’s breakup, over a glass of Rose. Here are the highlights:

On the strength of her daughter Olive:“That’s how my daughter is. She doesn’t want the worry. She needs to know it’s going to be OK. It’s the only way she will allow herself to be vulnerable. . . . She’s mad when something hurts her. She doesn’t go to a weak place. Every little girl can only be made to feel safe if they know the parent is solid.”

On her life’s mission:“The only thing I care about, my life’s mission and the only thing that matters as of now is that my daughters know what our lives were like, how we lived, and how much I love them. For them to know that they were not just loved, but, like, ridiculously, utterly, life-alteringly loved. That’s the only reason I’m here now!”

On maybe calling Steven Spielberg:“I had a really hard time a couple of months ago and kind of knew life was heading in a new direction. I called someone that I really trust, respect, and believe in, because he has always been the conductor of grace. I said, ‘What’s your advice?’ And he said, ‘You put one foot in front of the other.’ I hung up the phone and I thought, ‘That is why I call this person.’ It’s not only succinct, but it’s almost physically productive and life-choice productive. It’s just great advice. It’s a kind of way in which to live, and I want to be like him. I want to be like that. I want to put one foot in front of the other.”

See? Totally Spielberg, right? Totally a conductor of grace. If you think it’s somebody else, sound off in the comments below. Heck, if you agree, do the same…

Drew Barrymore Doesn’t Like Hanging Out With Famous People

MC-April-16-Drew-Barrymore-Newsstand_edited-1-846x1024

Oh, Drew. I’m the same way!

Drew Barrymore‘s promoting her Flower beauty line (she also has a wine line) and because she’s not always on social media, she has to like, do magazine interviews and such. So, she said hi to Marie Claire and talked about makeup, friends and how she’s crap at self promotion.

Here’s some of what Drew told Marie Claire:

On fame and celebrity friendship: “I’ve never felt comfortable with this, sort of, camaraderie of famous people. I’ve known Poo Poo [Cameron Diaz] since I was 14 years old. We just happened to know each other before her career started, and I was working in a coffeehouse trying to refigure out my life. So in a weird way, it doesn’t even count with us.”

On making an effort: “I went to parent’s night, and I wore some lipstick and concealer, and I thought the people at school looked at me kind of differently. I normally come with acne, and Ugg boots, and I thought they were like, ‘Oh that’s nice, she made a little bit of an effort.’”

On trying to do it all: “I really had to tell myself, You can do everything, but you will have to do them at different moments. And you can do a lot in the same moment, but you can’t do everything in the same moment. It was a good lesson that you will just have to prioritize and put some things over here for a little while.”

On being self-taught: “It was prompted a little bit by a fear of I don’t want to end up being 25 and not having ever educated myself in any way.”

On self-promotion: “I try really hard to keep my Instagram personal and sweet, and use it in a way to engage with people so that I can talk about work stuff, but [self promotion] is so not who I am.”

(Via Marie Claire)

Okay, it’s pretty obnoxious for someone who essentially grew up in the limelight to say “hey, I don’t like talking to famous people.” That being said, the rest of it is pretty on point. Not every celeb needs to be like a Kardashian with the social media, no?

What do YOU think of the interview?
