The news that Paris Hilton and boyfriend Doug Reinhardt had finally split didn’t come as a surprise to most people, except maybe Doug himself.
When the news, which has since been confirmed by a rep for the reality star, first broke on Wednesday morning, E! News caught up with Doug to get his side of the story. The clueless hunk told them, “No, that’s not true. Everything is OK between us.”

It’s over for Paris Hilton and boyfriend Doug Reinhardt of The Hills, PEOPLE has confirmed.
“In response to the inquiry on whether Paris Hilton has split up with Doug Reinhardt, yes, this is true they are no longer together. They remain friends and ask that you please respect their privacy,” a rep for Hilton says.
Hilton, 28, and Reinhardt, 24, had been together for six months. Reinhardt’s rep had no immediate comment.
UPDATE: I just check both of their Twitter’s to see if either of them were saying anything, and as of last night – they were still together. This was Doug’s last Twitter referring to Paris. Whatever happened between the two of them had to have happened very recently – and had to have been intense! Breaking up on their anniversary no less! What will we do without Doug & Paris!
