An employee at the Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary confirms exclusively to E! News that Adam Michael Goldstein will be buried today at 3pm.

A service will be held in the mortuary first and then moved outside for the burial.

Hillside is a Jewish cemetery located in West Los Angeles. A friend of the Goldstein family tells E! the burial service is for “family only.”

A memorial service for Goldstein is still scheduled for Thursday night at the Hollywood Palladium.

For the first time since DJ AM’s death, Travis Barker — who survived a tragic plane crash with the celebrity DJ nearly a year ago — opens up about the loss of his friend.

“Don’t know how I am gonna play 2night but I am for AM,” the Blink-182 drummer, 33, posted on Twitter Saturday night before the band’s concert in Hartford, Connecticut. “My brother is gone. I love u and miss u, I’ll never forget all the good times we had.”

He continued: “I’ll never forget everything we’ve been through and every time I play the drums, I’ll think of you. U were an amazing friend/DJ/human being.”

Both Barker — who suffered second- and third-degree burns after a Learjet caught fire during an aborted takeoff in South Carolina, leaving four others dead, on Sept. 19 — and DJ AM (whose real name is Adam Goldstein) had said they were just thankful “to be alive” after the crash.

“Rest in peace, my brother,” he Tweeted. “This really f***s me up.”

On Friday, Barker’s estranged wife, Shanna Moakler, told Us exclusively that she couldn’t imagine how Barker was handling the news.

“My deepest condolences are to DJ AM — he was a great artist and will be severely missed,” she said. “My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. My support and love goes out to Travis as I know how hard this is for him and how close they were.”

Mandy Moore, one of DJ AM’s former girlfriends, expressed her grief over losing a true friend.

“I am absolutely heartbroken,” she said in a statement to Usmagazine.com about her ex, Adam Goldstein, who was found dead in his New York City apartment on Friday at the age of 36. “For those of us lucky enough to have known him, Adam radiated a contagious exuberance for life and also personified the very definition of a true friend.”

Moore, who married rocker Ryan Adams in March, only dated the celebrity DJ for two months in 2007. Still, they had remained close, and after he was badly burned in a September plane crash, she flew to his side. They rekindled their relationship for a brief period following the accident.

“To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement,” she continued. “My heart goes out to his loved ones.”

Moore, 25, wasn’t the only celebrity DJ AM dated. He had a high-profile romance with Nicole Richie — who is due to give birth to her second child with beau Joel Madden — for several years beginning in 2004. They were engaged in February 2005 but split a few months later.

Richie has not yet commented on DJ AM’s death.

Law enforcement sources directly connected with the death of DJ AM tell us that his death was the result of an accidental overdose and not a suicide — and there is a tragic, ironic twist of fate.

 Our sources say DJ AM, a recovering addict, developed a dependency to Xanax and other benzodiazepines (a group of drugs used to treat anxiety) as a direct result of the plane crash a year ago. We’re told AM (aka Adam Goldstein) developed a tremendous anxiety over flying — something he had to do frequently for his job. We’re told doctors began prescribing Xanax and other anti-anxiety medications to relieve his fear, but the benzos triggered a relapse into addiction. We’re told benzos are particularly dicey for recovering addicts.

Our sources say DJ AM’s relapse was “recent” — he was not abusing for a prolonged period of time before his death.

We’re also told the OD had “absolutely nothing to do with his recent breakup.”

Our sources say the evidence strongly indicates cause of death will be a combination of crack cocaine and benzos.

DJ AM’s autopsy was completed Saturday afternoon, but the results are still inconclusive, TMZ.com reports.

According to the New York City Medical Examiner’s office, further tests are necessary to determine the official cause of death. Those toxicology tests could take several weeks to complete.

The autopsy came one day after the 36-year-old DJ was found dead in his NYC apartment. A crack pipe and prescription pills were also found in the apartment, according to the Associated Press.

A law enforcement official, who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the investigation was ongoing, did not release any other information about the medication.

Last year, the star — who was found dead Friday at the age of 36 — revealed that he became addicted to drugs and had attempted suicide in his early 20s. He said he attended recovery meetings and has remained drug-free for about a decade.

“He was sober for 10 years, a friend told Us. “His sobriety was really important to him.”

He even began working on a new intervention-style reality show based on his experiences surviving addiction as well as surviving a tragic plane crash nearly a year ago that left four others dead.

“I have another chance,” he had said during a July interview for the MTV show, Gone Too Far. “So I have to do something better with my life this time.”

There was no evidence of foul play, and it has not yet been confirmed if DJ AM had drugs in his system when he died. The medical examiner’s office in New York City has completed the autopsy of DJ AM, according to TMZ.com, but toxicology tests — which could take several weeks to complete — are needed to determine the cause of death.

“[His] death is an incredible loss to the music community, his friends, family and his fans, and to those of us who had the privilege of working with him,” an MTV spokesperson said in a statement late Friday. “MTV was honored to support him as he helped young people battle their own addiction.”

Sources tell us he was found in his apartment at around 5:20 PM. We’re told drug paraphernalia was found at the scene.

Our sources say DJ AM had not been seen or heard from for a few days — one of his friends went to check on him, but got no response after knocking on his apartment door.

We’re told the friend called the police, who broke down the door and then found DJ AM’s body.

Back in September of 2008, DJ AM and Travis Barker survived a plane crash in South Carolina. Four people died in the crash — which was caused when the airplane aborted takeoff and then ran off the runway. DJ AM and Barker were the only survivors.

Sources tell TMZ prescription pill bottles were found by DJ AM’s body this afternoon.

We’re told his body was found at around 5 PM this afternoon at his apartment in New York City.

DJ AM and girlfriend Hayley Wood head back to their car after an evening at the My House lounge. The DJ, real name Adam Goldstein, is reported to be teaming up with MTV for a “tough love” style intervention show inspired by his success in overcoming drug addiction. Adam, who revealed his past addiction last year, has been clean for a decade.
