Hey, everyone! Calm down! Russell Crowe is NOT in a new relationship…we think…?

The Les Miserables actor, 48, denied rumors that he’s dating Dita Von Teese, 40, on Twitter Monday, Jan. 14.

“Dita Von Teese is brave, smart, sweet and elegant,” he tweeted. “She is a friend of mine. Who wouldn’t want friends like that? Friends, not lovers.”

Hmmm….the oddest part is, Crowe has since deleted the message, but kept a Tweet of the burlesque dancer’s video collaboration with Monarchy Sound on his feed. On Monday, The New York Post‘s Page Six reported that Crowe and Teese enjoyed a couples message together back in December, and claimed the two have been flirting with each other on Twitter for quite some time.

As you know, the actor split from wife Danielle Spencer after 9 years in October. But Crowe, who shares sons Charles, 9, and Tennyson, 6, with Spencer, suggested on Twitter in December that he was trying to work on his marriage.

“As soon as I finish this job and can get home, my priority is to try to bring my family back together,” the actor, who was filming Winter’s Taleat the time, wrote.

Well, is Crowe with Teese? Is he completely done with his very lovely ex-wife? And another question…why is all this stuff being announced via twitter?!

Lots of celebrities turned up for last night’s 2011 MOCA Gala held at The Museum Of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.

The gala was for “An Artist’s Life Manifesto” directed by Marina Abramovic.

The event brought out quite a few beautiful women – but honestly – I’m not a huge fan of most of these dresses! The only one I’m a fan of is Rose McGowan’s. Other than that – there’s a whole lot of ugliness going on. What is Dita wearing!?  Seriously, take a look through all the pictures below!

More Coachella pics! Nicky Hilton and boyfriend David Katzenberg, Dita von Teese and her boyfriend Louis Marie de Castelbajac, Tara Reid, and supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio were all spotted at the Coachella Music Festival yesterday in Indio, CA.

Dita Von Teese has had a long, painful road in creating her own fragrance. Back in December she was rejected by a major perfume company over fears that she wasn’t “famous enough” to carry her own line.

She told WWD.com, “What I really want to do is make my own fragrance. I don’t want to smell like anyone else. I have to talk to the smaller companies, because the bigger ones, like Coty, are like ‘Well, not everyone knows your name, like the Kardashians or Victoria Beckham.’”

Is her dream finally coming true? The burlesque beauty posted on Twitter, “Isolated at a chateau in the French countryside w/my perfumers. “No fruit, no vanilla, no candy!! Velvet sensuality w/a dash of vulgarity! I want to evoke passion with fragrance….intense love/lust and distaste/fear rather than merely popular acceptance.”

Can’t wait to see what she comes up with!
