Charlie Sheen has invited his ex-wife Denise Richards to sue him over claims she demanded a sample of his sperm.

Sheen and Richards took their bitter ex-marital battle to breakfast U.S. TV screens on Wednesday, when they clashed over an email the actress allegedly sent begging for a sperm donation from her ex-husband.

Richards denies sending the email to Sheen’s fiancee Brooke Mueller, insisting her words were doctored.

But Sheen is so confident Richards did send the email, he has asked her to sue him.

He says, “Her claims that her e-mail has been fabricated or altered in any way to create this story are absurd. The mere fact the she continues to publicly discuss and harass both Brooke and me three years after our separation which, for the record is longer than the actual length of the marriage, is beyond desperate and speaks volumes.

“I will no longer sit back and be egregiously painted as a liar. If any proof can be established that these are not in fact her words and statements verbatim, I openly invite her and would even encourage Ms. Richards to sue me in a court of law.”

Whoopi Goldberg has criticized Denise Richards for exposing her young daughters on her upcoming reality TV show.

The former Bond girl was promoting her new program Denise Richards: It’s Complicated on Goldberg’s show The View on Wednesday when the Ghost star took exception to footage of Richards’ kids in the first episode.

Richards had to fight her ex-husband Charlie Sheen in court to get permission for the couple’s daughters to appear on the show, and Goldberg couldn’t understand why her guest didn’t want to leave her daughters out of the media spotlight.

She mused, “I cannot get past the fact that, if you want to protect your children – as you say you do, and you want to keep everything private, why you would take a reality show. Is it money?”

Visibly upset by the question, Richards went on to defend her decision – insisting she can’t understand why her show has caused such outrage.

She hit back, “I’ve been singled out. There hasn’t been one reality show with a family where there’s no kids… Every reality show has children in it. My kids are in this very little, they’re very sweet. They’re not child actors, I’m not forcing them to do anything. If they said, ‘You know what mom, I can’t stand all these people here,’ I’d say then it’s done. They’re my first priority.”

Denise Richards is desperate for her bitter ex-husband Charlie Sheen to visit a mediator with her because she fears the former couple’s silence is unhealthy for their daughters.

The former Bond girl admits she and her ex “don’t speak at all” and all the nastiness that came out during their “awful divorce” is still ever present.

But her feelings towards Sheen hit a new low when the actor refused to join his ex and their children at the memorial for his late mother-in-law, who lost her battle with cancer in November.

And he had no time to visit Richards’ dying mother.

She says, “He said, ‘I hope you die with her.’ It was awful. That’s (the kids’) nana; my mom was the closest person to my girls after myself and Charlie. It’s sad.”

And after claiming Sheen cut off her child support last week because “he doesn’t want my kids to have vaccines and shots,” Richards insists it’s time for the former couple to put their differences behind them for the sake of their daughters.

She adds, “It’s a very conflicted divorce (and) it’s not healthy for the children. I’ve tried to see if he (Sheen) would see a mediator and just put our stuff aside… This is about the girls, but there’s nothing.”

Richards reveals Sheen is so determined to have absolutely no contact with his former wife, he doesn’t even pick his daughters up when it’s his turn to have custody of them.

Denise Richards has acknowledged a common thread between all of her ex-partners, including Charlie Sheen and Richie Sambora – they’re all “bad boys”.

In a clip from her upcoming reality series, the Wild Things star and her sister Michelle can be seen browsing her profile page on a celebrity dating website, which names all the men she has been linked to, including Scott Baio and Patrick Muldoon.

Reading through the list, she exclaims: “Half of this isn’t true! John (Stamos)… didn’t want to be with a woman who had children so that’s like out the door. We had a good time though!”

She then asks her sibling: “They’re all bad boys… I admit I have a weakness for guys that have dark hair and are passionate in bed, what is wrong with that?”

The show, titled Denise Richards: It’s Complicated, is set to debut on TV on May 26th.

Denise Richards is caught in a “no-win situation” over her decision to include her children in her upcoming reality show – insisting she has to involve them to prove she is a good mother.

The actress was previously criticised by her ex-husband Charlie Sheen and his fiancee Brooke Mueller for allowing the former couple’s young daughters – three-year-old Sam and Lola, two – to take part in the series.

But Richards, 37, is convinced there will always be controversy regarding the toddlers’ involvement with the program.

She tells Redbook, “If I have my kids on my show, I’m exploiting them. If I don’t, people will think I’m not a hands-on mom. That’s why it’s very important to me that the girls are part of it.”

But despite going against Sheen’s wishes, the Wild Things star admits she doesn’t want her kids “ever to feel torn between” their parents, adding: “Charlie is their dad, so if I insult their father it’s an insult to them.”

The series, produced by American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, is set to debut on U.S. TV on May 26th.

Denise Richards fired her nanny because she spoke ill of her ex-husband in front of the couple’s young daughters.

Despite the former Bond girl’s bitter divorce and custody battle with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, she insists no one in her employ speaks critically about her girls’ father when they’re in earshot.

Richards says, “I actually fired a nanny once, for bashing Charlie in front of the girls. Charlie is their dad, so if I insult their father it’s an insult to them. I don’t want them ever to feel torn between the two of us.”

Richards only regrets the former couple can no longer be friends.

She tells Redbook magazine, “Charlie is truly a stranger to me, and that’s the really sad part. I know many people who have gotten divorced and remained good friends, and I envy that because it’s obviously much healthier for the kids than our situation. But I’ve always tried to handle this respectfully. If you go back and try to dig up quotes about what I’ve said, there’s not a lot out there.”
