Demi Moore might be 47, but she really doesn’t feel a day older than … well, 5.
“I pretty much think of myself as like still being about 5. Maybe that’s why my Twitter picture is of me at 5,” the actress said Friday at a press conference for her new movie, The Joneses.
That childlike enthusiasm, not any particular beauty products or workout routines, is what she says makes her seem so young. “I don’t know if there is any particular secret [to staying youthful],” she says. “I think that laughter and smiling are one of the best antidotes to aging that you could possibly have.”
Moore’s affinity for the younger generation will come in handy this summer when she shoots her next film, LOL, in which she plays Miley Cyrus’ mom. Moore just met the 17-year-old pop star last week, and was impressed.
“I think she’s extremely talented,” she says. “This role is going to be really good for her. I think she’ll do an amazing job. She clearly comes from a really solid family, which I think really shows.”
For now, Moore – who’s been mulling the idea of becoming a mother again with Ashton Kutcher – is promoting The Joneses with costar David Duchovny.
It’s a film about today’s rampant consumerism as seen through a family that has everything (including more than a few secrets). And for Moore, it was a chance to re-examine her own values when it comes to material things – and the lessons she tried to impart to daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah.
“I feel like I have the fortune of privilege, particularly as it relates, say, to my children,” she says. “I’ve always really tried to keep a positive perspective of what’s valuable … that who you are isn’t the stuff you have.”

Her daughters with former husband Bruce Willis – Rumer, 21, Scout, 18, and Tallulah, 16 – may be grown, but Demi Moore, 47, hasn’t ruled out having another child, this time with husband (since 2005) Ashton Kutcher, 32.
“We talk about it and it’s something that we would like,” Moore tells U.K. Elle for its May issue. “He’s an amazing father to my daughters already, so I have no doubt that if it’s in our future, it would be another incredible part of our journey together.”
Pregnancy is a trip Moore’s taken before, and memorably – posing naked for Vanity Fair in 1991, while she was carrying Scout.
“I was brave. I was so brave! I had no sense of the impact that it would have. I just wanted to push the boundaries,” says Moore. “I wanted to remove the limitations that I felt were being imposed on me. Why couldn’t I be a mother and have a career?”

That career is due to kick-start again: In July, Moore begins shooting a comedy with Miley Cyrus, titled LOL, Moore Tweeted this week. Based on a French movie of the same title, it involves a teen dealing with her first heartbreak and with the recent divorce of her mother.
As for being a real-life mom, Moore suggests that next time around she might be less concerned with the effect a pregnancy could have on her figure.
“I had an extreme obsession with my body. I made it a measure of my own value. I tried to dominate it, which I did, and I changed it multiple times over,” she says. “But it never lasted and ultimately it didn’t bring me anything but temporary happiness. Does being thin resolve anything? No.”
She adds, “The irony is that when I abandoned that desire to dominate my body, it actually became the body that I always wanted. But it only happened when I stopped trying to control it. At the end of the day, this kind of obsession is pointless and meaningless.”

I don’t think this movie looks very interesting…straight to DVD if you ask me! But on a brighter note, Demi looks gorgeous!
Demi Moore and David Duchovny star as a seemingly perfect couple who, along with their equally perfect teenagers — Amber Heard and Ben Hollingsworth — move into an upscale gated community. The Joneses have better goods and game than any other family in town. The only problem is they’re not a family -they are employees of a stealth marketing organization, and they know how to make everyone else want what they’ve got.

Demi Moore isn’t against getting work done on her face, per se — she just hasn’t had any yet, she says.
The 47-year-old actress once again acknowledges — and debunks — long-standing rumors that she’s had extensive plastic surgery.
“I have had something done but it’s not on my face,” she clarifies in the May issue of British Elle magazine (as reported in the Daily Mail and Huffington Post)
“You know what? Maybe one day I’ll go under the knife,” she retorts. “It just irritates me that people are constantly saying how much I’ve spent on plastic surgery.”
The wife of Ashton Kutcher and mother of three kids with ex Bruce Willis sighs, “I wish there was a little bit less curiosity and fascination with how I look, whether it’s good or bad…I only hope it’s serving some sort of purpose…It feels like schoolyard name-calling a lot of the time. It hurts.”

Yet Moore also admits that she once “had an extreme obsession with my body. I made it a measure of my own value. I tried to dominate it, which I did, and I changed it multiple times over.”
But she adds philosophically: “Does being thin resolve anything? No. The irony is that when I abandoned that desire to dominate my body, it actually became the body that I always wanted. But it only happened when I stopped trying to control it. At the end of the day, this kind of obsession is pointless and meaningless.”
The star also looks back on the iconic 1991 Vanity Fair cover in which she posed nude while 7 months pregnant with daughter Scout LaRue. “I was brave. I was so brave,” she boasts. “I had no sense of the impact that it would have. I just wanted to push the boundaries.”
On Wednesday, Moore confirmed via Twitter that she will play Miley Cyrus’ mom in a remake of the French film LOL, which stars shooting in July.
