Heard a rumor from a little bird? Well, Demi Lovato has Tweeted a firm denial regarding those reports that she is dating Joe Jonas.
“There’s been a lot of rumors lately that I’m dating one of my best friends Joe. I can promise my entire career that I am not. It’s unfortunate that some people out there are so desperate for attention that they have to make up gossip to keep their site alive,” Lovato wrote on her official Twitter page.
She added of her Camp Rock 2 costar,”We’ve NEVER dated. He’s incredible, but we don’t have feelings for each other in that way. I love you guys, and I wouldn’t lie about that.”

Demi Lovato’s career almost ended before it began - she was nearly crushed by children’s star Barney when she was eight.
The singer/actress started her career as one of the giant purple dinosaur’s sidekicks on hit show Barney & Friends.
She loved the experience, but it could have ended so differently.
Lovato, who celebrated her 17th birthday on Thursday, tells Starpulse.com, “We were shooting one day (and) I almost got trampled by it (Barney) because I wasn’t paying attention. And that was frightening because the suit’s extremely heavy.”
Thank God that didn’t happen, but it’s a cute story!

Demi Lovato may have recently split with Trace Cyrus, but she finds time to chat to her best friend – his sister, Miley – every day.
And what does the 16-year-old call Miley in those chats? “Dragon.” She tells the September issue of Sugar magazine (her first cover shoot in the U.K.) the nickname comes from “our fave film, Step Brothers.” She adds the megastar has “given me so much advice” to help her cope with fame.
“Recently she sent me this four-page text message encouraging me and telling me she has faith in me. It was so inspiring and made me feel great – because I do get a bit overwhelmed by the paps sometimes.”
As for her other celebrity pals, the Jonas Brothers, Lovato says, “Everyone asks me if I fancy them but I totally don’t!”
She can afford a joke now about the attention she gets, but it wasn’t so easy a few years ago. She says the bullying she endured at school stemmed from her new-found fame. “I opened a show for JoJo once and the next day my class passed round a petition to ‘Get Demi Out,’ and then handed it to me. It was pretty devastating.”
“But the final straw was when I was chased into the toilets by girls threatening to punch me. I was so scared I called Mom – we decided I’d stay at home after that. But it made me more focused on writing my music and spurred me on to want success.”
She has been home-schooled since then, but she adds that she would like to go to college one day.
Lovato’s first steps on the road to fame were at a school talent show when she sang Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On from Titanic. “[It was] a pretty daring choice, I’m sure you’ll agree! Mom still describes that performance as ’sweet’ – so I’m pretty sure she means I was awful!”
She still gets plenty of support from her family. “I get really emotional every time I have to leave them to go on tour, but luckily Mom and Dad take it in turns to go with me. I miss my sisters so much.”

Settle down, Disney fans: Demi Lovato isn’t a cutter, her rep says.
The ‘Net blew up Thursday with speculation that the up-and-coming “Camp Rock” star was into self-harming. Within hours, “Demi Lovato” and “cutter” racked up to 65,000 search results on Google.
The “evidence”? Lovato, 16, accidentally flashed several angry red marks on her inner wrist during Miley Cyrus’ Disneyland birthday bash … back in October.
“These allegations are completely false,” says the singer’s rep, Lillian Matulic.
Demi, she points out, was wearing several oh-so-hip tight plastic bracelets earlier that day which “left indentations on her wrist.”
Lovato shot to teen stardom earlier this year as the lovable-yet-shy Mitchie Torres in “Camp Rock” alongside Joe Jonas.
She later launched a successful album, “Don’t Forget,” which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard charts, propelling her that much closer to mainstream stardom and the rumors that come with it.

I’ve worn rubber bands on my wrist for years - and it’s never left those kinds of marks. Especially not more than one. Did she have four rubber bands around her wrist? Hmmm… interesting.
