I think it’s safe to assume that congratulations are in order – it looks like David Hasselhoff and Hayley Roberts are engaged!
59-year-old David Hasselhoff stepped out with his 32-year-old Welsh girlfriend Hayley Roberts in Sydney this afternoon. The ‘Baywatch’ actor set up a dog washing parlor in a park along with his fellow Celebrity Apprentice teammates. Profits went towards the Starlight Foundation.
Dressed in overalls for the task, Hasselhoff and his fellow celebrity contestants were also wearing women’s high heels.
Hasselhoff and Roberts started dating exactly a year ago after meeting at a Cardiff hotel when he was filming Britain’s Got Talent.
In October, the couple were at the centre of split allegations after the actor had written ‘So Hayley Roberts has dumped me’ on his Twitter page.
However, he soon backtracked, adding various adoring declarations of love and a statement saying: ‘Sorry guys not true Me and Hayley are doing Great!!’
In a recent interview with the Mail On Sunday’s Live magazine, Hasselhoff said marriage between the couple was currently an ‘impossibility’.
He said: ‘Right now we’re very happy. It’s an impossibility because of where I live in Los Angeles. She’s so dedicated to Wales.
‘The great thing about her is she doesn’t take **** from anybody.
‘She’ll tell me, “Don’t trust that person.” And she’s usually right. She has my best interests at heart. Hopefully it will last, and if it doesn’t…’
I’m sure she loves his big heart and sensitive personality.

David Hasselhoff says that when his daughter released a video of him in a drunken stupor, on the floor trying to eat a cheeseburger, that it brought their family closer together.
In a new interview, he said, “I have learned from my mistakes, I have learned from everything. The best part about it was what it did for my children. So many children called and said that their parents are just like that. They asked, ‘What do we do?’”
He went on to say, “It gave my children a great place to say, ‘Hey, you just love them, because we love my dad more than anything and it brought us closer to each other.’ And in the end it’s a video. Who cars, you know? I am still here. In the end a lot of people who saw that video laughed at it, most of the people that saw that video see themselves.”

Poor David Hasselhoff! After his A&E show was cancelled after only two episodes, David flew to Australia to help promote a new ice cream! A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do!
He arrived on the beach in a rubber lifeboat, flanked by local lifeguards, and carrying bags full of Splice ice cream.
Next stop? New Zealand! The Hoff is heading to Mount Maunganui’s main beach on January 6 to promote a new Streets ice-block.
The Bay of Plenty Times reports the Mount Maunganui Surf Life Saving Club has been paid a fee to host Hasselhoff, and will offer uniformed lifeguards as security. The club plans to take advantage of the 3000-strong crowd expected by fundraising with a bucket collection.

A&E has pulled former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff’s reality series The Hasselhoffs after just one week on the air, network officials said Friday.
Sunday’s premiere episode of the 10-episode series, which chronicled the life of Hasselhoff and his two daughters, averaged 718,000 viewers, according to Nielsen. A second 30-minute episode drew just 505,000 viewers.
In comparison, an original episode of Gene Simmons Family Jewels preceding The Hasselhoffs drew 1.4 million viewers, according to the network.
