In a final shedding of her Posh Spice musical past, Victoria Beckham has written a heartfelt letter about her fashion dreams coming true – and how husband David inspires her new men’s line.

“This past year has been amazing, not only as a mother and wife but as the Creative Director of my label ‘dVb by Victoria Beckham,’ ” Victoria, 34, writes on her Web site. “In just under two years dVb has grown from a passionate idea into collections which are stocked in top stores around the world – something I only used to dream of.”

Fueling her dream – as her label leaps the gender gap – is her spouse. “The label grows as I do,” she writes. “Along with women’s denim the dVb mens collection has just launched, and who better than David to be my muse!”

Moving ahead, she says, “I am looking forward to the brand developing … I have so many ideas; patience is something I’m trying to learn but haven’t got to grips with as yet!”

Tom Cruise has reportedly been getting diet advice from soccer ace David Beckham.

The Top Gun star and his wife, Katie Holmes, became pals with Beckham when the soccer ace and his Spice Girl wife Victoria moved to Los Angeles last year.

And the actor is said to have shed 10 pounds in just six weeks with the sports star’s help.

A source tells Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, “David has been round at Tom’s house a lot. While Katie and Victoria have been swapping fashion tips on the phone, David has been advising Tom on diet. Tom has a private gym at his home and David has been working out with him. He also gave him diet advice. Tom has been sticking to 1,200 calories a day, mostly grilled chicken and fish with lots of vegetables, salads and fruit. David put together a work-out regime that included the treadmill, weight training and fencing lessons together.”

And the reason for the ageing actor’s sudden health kick appears to be to do with his young family.

The source adds, “Tom had been steadily gaining weight. He didn’t notice it at first but then he developed quite a paunch. He hated it when pictures started appearing of him with a belly and love handles. He turned 46 this summer and he’s got a 29-year-old wife and a young family so he wanted to get back in shape.”

ET confirms that David Beckham and wife Victoria Beckham were not in a terrifying car crash in France on Friday, as was widely reported on various news outlets over the weekend.

“This is a complete fabrication, absolutely not true,” a spokesperson for the star couple tells ET.

According to the bogus report, the couple was staying at their home in the French Riviera last week and got into a nasty accident on the way to the airport in Nice, as the soccer star was set to fly to Beijing for the closing Olympic ceremonies.

The fabricated story claimed that the pair was involved in a horrific crash, which left their black BMW with a smashed windshield and extensive damage along the passenger side, leaving them “severely shaken.” Furthermore, David was supposedly forced to leave his wife behind at the accident scene so he could catch his flight.

Truth be told, David Beckham made it to the closing ceremonies unscathed, where he kicked a soccer ball into the crowd as part of a symbolic passing of the torch from Beijing to London for the next summer Olympics in 2012.

Victoria Beckham and her husband David escaped unscathed following a terrifying car crash in France on Friday.

The couple was visiting their home in the village of Bargemon, close to the French Riviera, last week before the soccer star was due to fly to Beijing, China to take part in the Olympics closing ceremony on Sunday.

But on the way to Nice airport to catch his plane to China, the pair was involved in a horrific crash, which left their black BMW with a smashed windscreen and extensive damage along the passenger side.

David Beckham reportedly smashed the car laterally into a wall – leaving his wife severely shaken.

Beckham was photographed embracing a tearful Victoria in the car and comforting her, before he raced to the departure lounge with her father Tony Adams. Beckham was forced to run to catch his flight, leaving his distraught partner with the wrecked car.
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the accident.

He’s already conquered Hollywood – so why not the stage?

A British dramatist is in talks to bring David Beckham’s life story – in musical form! – to London’s West End.

“His rise from obscurity to international stardom, his universally acknowledged gifts as a supreme sportsman, and his Hollywood lifestyle all have the elements of an aspirational fable,” librettist Mark Archer told the U.K.’s Daily Telegraph.

Archer is currently meeting with producers to discuss bringing his vision, David Beckham – The Theatre of Dreams, to the stage.

It would feature “powerful, gospel-like rock,” Archer said. And, of course, Beckham’s wife Victoria would make an appearance. Sample lyrics (upon meeting the Spice Girl):

In real life, Beckham has soccer – not singing – on his mind. He’s preparing to play on England’s national team in their August 20 match against the Czech Republic.
