“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” Premieres in New York

When it came time to play Lisbeth Salander in “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,” Rooney Mara was ready to go to more than a few extremes. Namely, she knew she was going to be naked onscreen and as such, that her naked body ought to resemble Lisbeth’s as much as possible. “Nudity is such a huge part of the character in the book, so I never thought twice about it,” she tells Allure. She even got her nipple pierced, because Lisbeth had the same piercing in the original story. “I’m naked quite a lot in the movie, and I thought, she has it in the book, and she should have it [in the movie],” reasons Rooney. “Because of all the tattoos and the makeup and the piercings, and the physical transformations my body has to go through, it would always feel sort of like I was in costume, even if I was naked. It just felt like a good one to get — a necessary one to get.”

I cannot wait for this movie! Almost there!

What do you think of Rooney’s dress? It’s Prabal Gurung Spring 2012.

Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig attend the premiere of “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” in London, England

Rooney Mara was said to have been nervous beforehand but needn’t have been – the actress looked stunning in a soft white backless Givenchy Couture gown complete with cut-out side panels and sheer details.

Her glossy razor-cut fringe may have nodded to her character Lisbeth Salander signature style (tattoos and bundles of black leather) but actor Rooney softened the look with minimal make up, focusing attention on her shaded-in power brows.

Daniel Craig was suited and booted for the red carpet but upped the style ante too, wearing an edgy Matrix-style leather coat and patent brogues for to launch the world premiere of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo at Odeon in Leicester Square.

Kris Jenner thinks Daniel Craig owes her family an apology.

Good luck with that one!

Last week a quote from GQ magazine was released that shot Daniel Craig to the top of my favorites list. You know, the quote where he called the Kardashian’s “f-kng idiots”?

He said, “Look at the Kardashians, they’re worth millions. I don’t think they were that badly off to begin with but now look at them. You see that and you think, ‘What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f–king idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions?’ I’m not judging it. Well, I am, obviously.”

Love it.

Guess who was uber pissed? Kris Jenner! In an interview with Heat UK, Kris was asked how she felt about the comments Daniel made. She said, “It [hasn’t] made him look like the world’s nicest guy. The right thing for a real man to do now would be to issue a public apology. The easy thing would be to criticize his career now, but our family won’t stoop to that level.”

Her “comeback” is sooooooooooo lame. “Easy thing would be to criticize his career”. Ok go ahead – I dare ya! What’s there to criticize? He’s one of Hollywood’s A-List actors, who RARELY makes a misstep in choosing films.

So b*tch PLEASE.

Daniel Craig calls the Kardashians “f**king idiots”

The Kardashians are everywhere. You feel it, I feel it, and Daniel Craig feels it. We’re tiring of them. They’re making us crazy.

In a new interview with British GQ, the James Bond star has labelled the Klan “f**king idiots” and criticized anyone who sells themselves for a buck.

Craig, who managed to keep his marriage to Rachel Weisz under wraps in the summer, told the January edition of GQ magazine: ‘I think there’s a lot to be said for keeping your own counsel.

‘It’s not about being afraid to be public with your emotions or about who you are and what you stand for. But if you sell it off it’s gone.

‘You can’t buy it back – you can’t buy your privacy back. Ooh I want to be alone. F*** you. We’ve been in your living room. We were at your birth. You filmed it for us and showed us the placenta and now you want some privacy?

Referring to the Kardashians, Craig said: ‘Look at the Kardashians, they’re worth millions. I don’t think they were that badly off to begin with but now look at them.

‘You see that and you think ‘what, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f***ing idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions.

‘I’m not judging it – well, I am obviously.’

In the article, he also opened up about his marriage to Weisz, and says he married in private for personal reasons.

‘Because we didn’t want it f*****d up, because that would be sharing a secret. And the whole point is that it was a secret. A secret is a secret in my mind.’

Refusing to go into any details about the ceremony, Craig added: ‘Look, I’m in love. I’m very happy. And that is as far as I’m prepared to go. Life is long, life goes wrong and I don’t want to say something now that might be thrown back later.’

The 43-year-old, who is now working on the 23rd Bond film, Skyfall, can soon be seen in the English language remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

But he says despite his lengthy and successful career, he is still not happy with how things stand.

He said: ‘I’m definitely not satisfied about my career. I don’t know how you can be, it’s the very nature of things.

‘I’m always trying to figure it out, and I’m kind of unsatisfied constantly. I always want to get it right and I don’t know what the answer to it is.

‘But I do know that it’s out there and I do know it’s worth looking for.’

I love Daniel Craig. I kind of don’t even mind that he and Rachel hooked up while they were both with other people (and you know how I feel about cheating). He’s cute, she’s cute, they should make babies.
