Courtney Love has posted a bizarre message on her online blog thanking fans for supporting her “kookoo bananas alter ego”.

The former Hole star has reached out to her fans on social networking site MySpace.com, where she reveals her battle with another personality and rants about choosing a name for her.

She writes, “just want to (t)hank allyou (sic) supportive lovely people and thank you for putting up with my kookoo bananas alter ego should; we give her a name? should (sic) we give my alter ego a name? hmnmmmm Cherry! “Cherry kookoo” so if /when im overcome and blog again wich (sic) i wont do… well know it was Cherry Kookoo, but i think I’ve killed her off… Your support means the world to me i read every comment! rock on.”

Courtney Love is “suicidal” after discovering the ashes of her late husband Kurt Cobain have been stolen in a raid on her Los Angeles home.

The former Hole singer had kept Cobain’s ashes in a pink bag shaped like a teddy bear, along with a lock of the Nirvana frontman’s hair.

But she was devastated to find the bag and thousands of dollars’ worth of jewellery missing after thieves ransacked her home late last month, reports Britain’s News of the World newspaper.

She says, “I can’t believe anyone would take Kurt’s ashes from me. I find it disgusting right now I’m suicidal. If I don’t get them back I don’t know what I’ll do. They were all I had left of my husband. I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me. Now it feels like I have lost him all over again.”

Courtney Love was pressured to abort her child with late rocker Kurt Cobain – because doctors feared her drug use would harm her unborn baby, a new book claims.

In Bumping Into Geniuses, former Warner Bros. Records boss Danny Goldberg claims medics were so worried about Love’s heroin use during her pregnancy, they offered her an abortion.

Goldberg claims doctors “tried to give clinical advice, suggesting to Courtney that it was not a great idea to have a baby while dealing with addiction”.

But the request did not bode well with Love.

Goldberg – who managed Cobain’s band Nirvana – writes, “(The doctor) suggested that it might not be safe for the baby, and Courtney, who was only six weeks pregnant, went into a confrontational mode. ‘Is that a medical fact, or is that just your opinion? I want to see it in a medical book.’ She was interested in medical facts, not a sermon. (The doctor) sheepishly acknowledged that at this early stage of pregnancy, a woman could discontinue heroin use with no physical or psychological damage to the fetus. Courtney looked triumphant as she towered over the doctor seated at his desk.”

Love did stop using heroin and gave birth to Frances Bean in 1992. Cobain committed suicide two years later.

Courtney Love has been admitted to hospital in Los Angeles after complaining of chest pains.

The star checked into L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at 3am on Friday, fearing she was suffering from throat condition laryngitis.

Love’s representatives confirm she was seen by doctors and diagnosed with strep throat – a severe sore throat and swelling of the tonsils – before being released.

Rocker Courtney Love is desperate to flee her hectic lifestyle in “dirty” Los Angeles and set up home in the English countryside.

She has previously house-hunted in the British capital and even viewed Kate Moss’ north London apartment, but pulled out of the $7 million deal after deciding it was not for her.

The former Hole singer, 43, claims the U.K. is a much healthier place to bring up her daughter with late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, 15-year-old Frances Bean, and has been viewing properties in the country for several months with the hope of finding a permanent home. She says, “I am fed up with Los Angeles. It’s dirty and full of crazy people. I want a complete lifestyle change. People criticise Britain but it is still a cleaner, safer place to live than Hollywood.” “I don’t want to live in the city. I love the greenery and the freshness of the countryside. It is just a healthier place for me to be. I’ve been house-hunting seriously and I’ll know as soon as I find the perfect place.”

Love was recently spotted looking at properties around the $10 million range in the plush area of Sunningdale in Berkshire, south-east England, an area that is often referred to as the Royal County of Berkshire because of royal residence Windsor Castle’s location in the county. And rock royalty Love could soon meet true royalty – Britain’s Prince Andrew also owns a mansion in Sunningdale.

Courtney Love has slammed reports she is bipolar, insisting claims she is suffering from the disorder are “slander”.

The former Hole singer is furious her erratic behavior is constantly being referred to as a result of the alleged illness, although she does admit to being somewhat “eccentric” because of her tendency to speak her mind.

Writing on her MySpace blog, she says, “God, people are bats**t. And im (sic) not the one who is. and i hear now i am “Bi Polar” uhhhh…thats more nuts than I will ever be. I may be Eccentric, i certainly speak my mind and am slow to put out a record i need to mean the world to ME, and im sure i am quite Nuerotic (sic) but “Bi Polar” . Thats just slander. I shoot straight from the hip and spellcheck has NOTHING to do with REALITY.”
