More than 12 years after Kurt Cobain committed suicide, Courtney Love has finally decided to get rid of his belongings.

“I’m going to have a Christie’s auction,” Love, 42, tells AOL music Web site Spinner.com. “[My house] is like a mausoleum.”

Love and Cobain wed in 1992 and had a daughter, Frances Bean, now 14. Cobain killed himself in 1994; Love has never remarried.

“My daughter doesn’t need to inherit a giant Hefty bag full of flannel f—ing shirts,” Love says. “A sweater, a guitar and the lyrics to ‘[Smells Like] Teen Spirit’ – that’s what my daughter gets. And the rest of it we’ll just f—ing sell.”

According to Love, her friends are supportive of the idea. “Everyone’s been positive and behind me on it,” she says. “We’ll make a lot of money and give a bunch of it to charity.”

An AOL rep told the Associated Press on Monday that no date has been set for the auction.

Courtney Love is rubbishing rumors she lost weight through gastric-band surgery. “I couldn’t get that surgery if I begged for it,” she writes on her Web site. “I got my inspiration from Oprah losing so much weight on Slim-Fast.” She also says she has rekindled her friendships with Drew Barrymore and Gwyneth Paltrow, and that she knows who’s due to star in an upcoming Courtney Love/Kurt Cobain biopic, “but cannot say. Very high-end and very A-list.” So who do we think will be playing Kurt in the movie? A List?? Hmmm…

Courtney Love got the Internet buzzing Wednesday when she appeared dramatically slimmed down in a batch of beach photos – and now she says she’s lost 44 pounds.

In a posting on Love’s Web site, Moonwashedrose.com, she writes under the name “court” that she “lost 44 pounds with 6 more maybe 11 more to go.”

A rep for the onetime Hole singer confirms that Love indeed wrote the post and says Love is following a macrobiotic diet, eating lots of vegetables and fish, and doing yoga and exercise to meet her weight-loss goals.

Love also writes openly about having had a nose job, saying that she has her “old nose” back. “I hated that nosejobby nose, it was like a little beak,” she writes. Now, she says, she had had her nose “fixed.” “[It] looks like the one god gave me so im happy not to have crazy lips and a crazy teensy unnatural little nose.”

She adds, “All i care about is that my self esteem is [limitless] and intact, and that nothing and no situation effects my self esteem.”

Bruce Willis celebrated turning 52 last week, and one of his presents was a makeout session with Courtney Love.

The unlikely couple were spotted in flagrante canoodle March 19 at the Roxy nightclub on Sunset Blvd. “They were full-on making out,” laughs a witness.

The venue was packed for a 9 p.m. performance by boozy Brit rocker Amy Winehouse.

But it doesn’t look like Rumer, Scout and Tallulah are getting a new stepmom just yet. Another source says Willis carried on the rest of the evening without Love by his side.

The actor’s rep declined to comment, while Love’s spokesman described the interaction as “a quick hi, and then they went their separate ways.”

Oh my.  Wow.
