ET sat down with Courteney Cox last week during promotion for the second season premiere of her TV series, “Dirt,” in an interview to air on Thursday, February 28th.
Since the show began, Cox says her own experience with the paparazzi has changed, “I think the paparazzi’s been nicer to me. I think they like the show, so there’s a little more camaraderie.” When asked whether or not she’s a little more empathetic to them and what they do, she replies sharply, “No.”
Cox tells ET that daughter Coco is a frequent visitor to the set, “Coco’s very comfortable on the set, very comfortable around all the people. She’s an actor, for sure, a little performer.” Would she encourage her daughter to be an actor? “No. Oh, I hope not!”

Courteney Cox has combined socialite pals Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie to create a high-living, party-girl character for her TV show Dirt. Cox, who plays ruthless tabloid editor, Lucy Spiller in the show, combined Hilton and Richie’s headline-grabbing moments and created the character Milan Carlton.
In the second season premiere of Dirt on March 8th, the socialite character is arrested for driving the wrong way on a freeway, a crime that “Wrong Way Richie” was punished for. Carlton also leads the paparazzi on a hair-raising chase through Hollywood, something Britney’s famous for.
Cox, who is also the series executive producer, says, “You’re gonna be able to identify these characters pretty easily. We’re just poking fun and hopefully no one will get their feelings hurt.”
