Lea Michele has found a fairy godmother in Stevie Nicks!

Lea Michele has done well to bounce back after losing her Glee co-star and serious boyfriend, Cory Monteith, to a heroin overdose late last year. Luckily, she had support from her fellow actors and one rather unexpected source: Fleetwood Mac frontwoman Stevie Nicks!

As Lea revealed in a new interview with V Magazine, Lea revealed that Stevie never left her side and is like her own personal fairy godmother. “She’s given me so many gifts along the way, and when I say gifts, I mean tools and advice and support. She told me from the beginning that music is going to be [my] therapy, and at the time, I was like, ‘What the f–k are you talking about, Stevie Nicks? I don’t want to listen to music. I can’t do anything.’ But once you get out a little bit of the tunnel, when you slowly start to feel like you can be yourself a little bit, it does help. It’s so cool I have her number,” Lea explained.

We’re certainly glad Lea found some strength to pick herself up and keep going. Cory would have wanted it that way, and she’s got a lot of big things ahead, including a new solo album and some big roles!

Cory Monteith’s death report released!

Cory Monteith's Character Won't Die Of A Drug Overdose

According to Cory Monteith’s drug report, the former ‘Glee’ actor was shooting heroin and drinking champagne in his hotel room on the night he died.

Cory was discovered alone in his hotel room in Vancouver, CA, on July 13 shortly after noon. When EMT’s arrived on the scene, the found “a spoon with drug residue and a used hypodermic needle.” They also found 2 empty champagne bottles and glasses.

The coroner lists Monteith’s official cause of death as “mixed drug toxicity, involving intravenous heroin use combined with the ingestion of alcohol.”

The report also notes that Cory “had a history of illicit drug use with intermittent periods of rehabilitation and of abstinence from drugs.”

The coroner suggests that Cory’s tolerance for substance abuse may have been lower than usual because he had stopped using since a rehab stint in April.

Monteith was 31.

So sad….. let this be a lesson to everyone! JUST SAY NO!

Cory Monteith’s Character Won’t Die Of A Drug Overdose

Cory Monteith's Character Won't Die Of A Drug Overdose

According to Glee creator Ryan Murphy, Cory Monteith’s TV character Finn Hudson won’t die of a drug overdose on the hit show.

Ryan said in a new interview, “There were a lot of things that we had to decide [for the memorial episode]. At one point, we were going to have his character die after an accidental drug overdose – that was something we had considered. But we have decided that we’re not going to have him pass from that.”

He said that he would prefer that the tribute episode be a “celebration of that character’s life” and may not even reveal his cause of death. He said, “That might be weird for some people, but it felt really exploitative to do it any other way.”

He went on to say, “The cast and crew have had solace in being together. There’s been tears on set. It’s been hard for a lot of people. But the really difficult thing is coming. We start shooting the memorial episode this week. We’re just now finishing it, and at the end of the week we’ll send it to Fox to get their approvals.”

He added, “I think it turned out to be a lovely tribute, and it’s a very heartfelt look at how young people grieve. After that, we’re going to take two weeks or three weeks down to get our heads together because it’s been a really hard thing to write. We loved Cory and we loved Finn and it feels like a huge loss and a huge heartache not to have either of them around.”

We’re sure they’ll honor his memorial with a lovely and fitting tribute. What do you think?

She attached the photo above, from better times.

Just days after the tragic news was announced that Cory had passed, Lea’s reps made a statement to E! News about the actress’s whereabouts and emotional state.

“Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she’s received from family, friends, and fans,” reps for the star said.

Her camp also asked that “everyone kindly respect Lea’s privacy during this devastating time.”

Cory was found dead at age 31 in his hotel room at the Fairview Pacific Hotel in Vancouver. After missing his checkout time, he was found alone in his room on the 21st floor.

Cory checked in July 6 and according to police, he was not staying with his girlfriend. Michele was last spotted in Mexico on July 9th.
