It’s a boy for Colin Farrell and girlfriend Alicja Bachleda.

The couple, who costar in the upcoming film Ondine, welcomed son Henry Tadeusz Farrell on Oct. 7 in Los Angeles, a rep for the actor tells People.

Henry is the first child for Bachleda, 26, and the second for Farrell, who has a 6-year-old son, James, with model Kim Bordenave.

Confirming the pregnancy to People in September, Farrell, 33, said he was looking forward to “everything” about parenthood. “I will take it as it comes. Even changing dirty diapers.”

Irish actor Colin Farrell - currently filming “London Boulevard” with Anna Friel – is the top choice for fantasy father in Ireland.

A whopping 23 percent of Irish women said they would like hard-partying Farrell to be the father of their child.

The studly actor came in ahead of Ireland’s rugby star Rob Kearney and TV presenter Craig Doyle who came joint second, while Irish American comedian Des Bishop and rugby player Ronan O’Gara were tied third at 8 percent.

Oddly, Irish hottie rugby star Brian O’Driscoll sputtered across the line with just 6 percent of votes tallied.

The women didn’t spell out why they wanted Farrell to be the fantasy father but I can only guess why!

However, his popularity might take a nose dive when the new movie “Liars (A-E)” hits the silver screen later this year.

“Liars” was penned by Farrell’s former flame Emma Forrest and is based on their relationship and subsequent break-up.

Farrell hasn’t said anything in public yet about the film but insiders tell IrishCentral that it really dishes the dirt.

Meanwhile, the Dublin heart-throb was looking mighty fine on set in London this week.

He plays a just-out-of-jail London criminal in the movie which also stars Friel and Keira Knightley..

Colin Farrell didn’t score an Oscar nomination this year for “In Bruges” — but he did score a movie deal with an Oscar nominee. Variety reports that Farrell and Keira Knightley will be starring in the independent crime drama “London Boulevard.” The film marks the directorial debut of screenwriter William Monahan (”The Departed”), who is really the go-to guy when it comes to crime thrillers.

Based on Ken Bruen’s well-reviewed thriller, “London” will see Farrell playing the sort of part he’s best at — a South London criminal, fresh out of prison, who is trying to live the straight life. He gets a job as a handyman for a reclusive young actress. Naturally, he can’t quite escape his violent past, and of course it will threaten his new life and love affair — and he’ll respond to the thugs and criminals of his circle with a terrible form of revenge.

The film begins shooting in London this summer, leaving very little breathing room for either young actor. Fresh off his Golden Globe win, Farrell is set to begin shooting “The Way Back” with Peter Weir in March, and Knightley will soon be playing Zelda Fitzgerald in “The Beautiful and the Damned.” I have to say, I think they’ll make a gorgeous couple onscreen — and it will be a relief to see Knightley in something other than a corset.

Colin Farrell is planning a permanent move to Los Angeles to spend more time with writer girlfriend Emma Forrest, according to reports.

The couple went public with the romance late last month after Farrell and Forrest were spotted holding hands at the Los Angeles premiere of German film The Edge of Heaven.

And now friends claim Farrell is planning to move in with the English novelist.

In Touch magazine reports Farrell was introduced to his new love on the set of In Bruges by director Martin McDonagh.

The couple has been dating since the beginning of the year, according to the publication.

Farrell has been romantically linked to many top stars and was briefly married to actress Amelia Warner. He has a four-year-old son with model Kim Bordenave.

Colin Farrell was so embarrassed after crashing into a neighbour’s parked car, he left an apologetic note for its owner.

The Miami Vice star clipped the car while behind the wheel of his Ford Bronco and was so worried about the damage he caused, he offered to pay for it with his insurance.

In a handwritten note left for the auto’s owner, Farrell left his contact details and wrote: “Did a bad thing! Deepest apologies. Of course my insurance will cover it. Again, regrets.”

At least he didn’t pull a Britney, right?
