What the heck is Claire Danes wearing at last night’s Time 100 event?

I saw these pictures earlier this morning, and in a thumbnail, Claire Danes looks amazing. But when I saw the pictures in their full size, I’m wondering what the heck she’s wearing. Celebitchy said it best, when they described the dress as “made of material that can only properly be described as resembling a Fruit Roll Up.”

She is gorgeous, but this Lanvin dress has got to go! (Also, that necklace is dreadful.) Her hair and makeup look flawless, however!

Here is the latest issue of Vanity Fair, it’s “Women of TV” issue! The gorgeous cover feature actresses: Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife), Sofia Vergara (Modern Family), Claire Danes (Homeland) and Michelle Dockery (Lady Mary Crawford on Downton Abbey). Inside the magazine is another photo, featuring Emily Deschanel (Bones), Grace Park (Hawaii 5-0), Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife), Emmy Rossum (Shameless), Emily Van Camp (Revenge), Kerry Washington (Scandal), and Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls).

What do you think of the picture below -besides all the BOOBS! Seriously, it’s all I can stare at.

“Homeland” actress Claire Danes spotted out in New York City, NY

Claire Danes was the recipient of this year’s Hasty Pudding Award from Harvard!

Claire was honored with the Hasty Pudding Theatricals’ 2012 Woman of the Year Award at Harvard University on January 26th.

The ‘Homeland’ actress was paraded through the streets of Cambridge, Boston, in an open-topped car. Surrounded by drag queens, she completed a bunch of tasks, that included reciting a faux-Elizabethan monologue about genitals.

Claire – who was accompanied to the event at the prestigious university by her ‘Martha Marcy May Marlene’ actor husband Hugh Dancy – called the experience “wackadoodle” and “utterly trippy”, before adding: “This is so contrary to what we associate with Harvard.”

Hasty Pudding Theatricals president James P. Fitzpatrick and vice president Ryan P. Halprin teased the actress about her studies at ivy league rivals Yale saying: “Claire made waves after leaving Yale after two years….two years is a normal amount of time to spend at a community college.”

When accepting the traditional pudding pot award, Claire joked: “This is as empty as a Yale degree! You know you are outside the boundaries of Hollywood when a woman receives an award from which she can eat.

“I do like to eat. I do like to eat me some pudding. I do like the taste of it. This is awesome. This is really awesome. This experience will remain forever emblazoned in my mind.”

Did you guys watch ‘Homeland’? I am late to start, I’m about half way through the season and it’s absolutely incredible! No wonder it won the Golden Globe for best TV show! So good!
