“Homeland” actress Claire Danes spotted out in New York City, NY

Claire Danes was the recipient of this year’s Hasty Pudding Award from Harvard!

Claire was honored with the Hasty Pudding Theatricals’ 2012 Woman of the Year Award at Harvard University on January 26th.

The ‘Homeland’ actress was paraded through the streets of Cambridge, Boston, in an open-topped car. Surrounded by drag queens, she completed a bunch of tasks, that included reciting a faux-Elizabethan monologue about genitals.

Claire – who was accompanied to the event at the prestigious university by her ‘Martha Marcy May Marlene’ actor husband Hugh Dancy – called the experience “wackadoodle” and “utterly trippy”, before adding: “This is so contrary to what we associate with Harvard.”

Hasty Pudding Theatricals president James P. Fitzpatrick and vice president Ryan P. Halprin teased the actress about her studies at ivy league rivals Yale saying: “Claire made waves after leaving Yale after two years….two years is a normal amount of time to spend at a community college.”

When accepting the traditional pudding pot award, Claire joked: “This is as empty as a Yale degree! You know you are outside the boundaries of Hollywood when a woman receives an award from which she can eat.

“I do like to eat. I do like to eat me some pudding. I do like the taste of it. This is awesome. This is really awesome. This experience will remain forever emblazoned in my mind.”

Did you guys watch ‘Homeland’? I am late to start, I’m about half way through the season and it’s absolutely incredible! No wonder it won the Golden Globe for best TV show! So good!

Kristen Davis‘ dress is pretty…not hot, but pretty.

That dress makes Diane Lane look ancient! She should have worn a younger dress, I think she’s so beautiful!

Hugh Dancy is hot… wife Claire Danes looks like she forgot to wash her hair.

There’s a lot of talk this morning about who looked the best and who looked the worst. I agreed and disagreed – so I decided to make my own list! Here are my Top 10 Best Dressed from last night’s Golden Globe Awards! Vote with me – and see if you agree! (Do you think someone should have made my list that I didn’t mention? Speak up in the comments!)

It was hard for me to pick my Top Ten – because most all of the ladies looked amazing last night! I think my #1 favorite was Emma Stone. I know it’s unlikely – with all the really elaborate dresses – but I loved how simple and beautiful it was. It’s a gorgeous pink dress from Calvin Klein and it just fit her gorgeously.

Ladies in Pink at Last Night’s Golden Globes!

Pink was a big color last night – with many big stars showing up in pink dresses! Earlier I posted pictures of Scarlett Johansson and Sandra Bullock in similar pink dresses – and here are more leading ladies in pink!

Out of all these dresses, Emma Stone definitely wore my favorite pink dress. I just love the simple look (by Calvin Klein), she looks stunning! Emma was nominated for Best Actress in the Comedy category, but lost out to Annette Bening (who won for The Kids Are Alright).

Claire Danes showed off her paint skills at a the Grand Central Terminal in New York City today for the launch of Valspar’s new Hi-Def Paint at the local Vanderbilt Hall. Claire is also promoting the release of her HBO movie “Temple Grandin” out in stores today.
