Christina Ricci is living in fear of a wild predator running wild near her Hollywood home.
The star confesses she’s too scared to spend any time outside, convinced the bobcat will savage her.
She says, “There’s a bobcat in my neighbourhood. Now I run from my car into my house. I’m terrified of getting eaten by a bobcat. They eat people.”

Christina Ricci ranks having to kiss a ghost as the most embarrassing thing she’s ever done.
The star appeared in the 1995 movie version of cartoon show Casper – and insists smooching the computer-generated spook was particularly daunting.
She tells MTV.com, “Kissing Casper was really embarrassing, because he was supposed to be see-through, so I had to make kissing faces, and I was 13, and I was so mortified. Oh that was terrible.”

Christina Ricci wants to dedicate her career to making family films – because she’s sick of sex, drugs and sleaze on screen.
The star appears in new family-oriented race-car movie Speed Racer, and loved the experience so much she is pushing for more clean-cut roles – and she wants the rest of Hollywood to follow suit.
Ricci, who has played sex-hungry tramps and nymphomaniacs on screen, says, “I wanted to do a kids movie again. I wanted to do a family film. There are so many family movies for kids but they don’t actually teach you anything. Speed Racer really stresses integrity and morals and a love of family, and that’s something I think is really important and a trend we need to bring back.”

Christina Ricci has hit out at Hollywood stars who blame the media for their lack of privacy and personal woes.
The actress, 28, has grown tired of the complaints of her fellow stars – claiming their predecessors were forced to work in much more difficult conditions.
Ricci says, “It used to be stricter. You couldn’t go places, you had to get approval from people, they had a say in who you dated, and you were basically their property and a public figure, and had no claims or rights to a private life. So, in a lot of ways, it’s better.”

Christina Ricci has taken aim at Lindsay Lohan for playing a stripper on screen and setting a poor example to young girls.
Ricci claims stars like Lohan, who peeled off in 2007 movie I Know Who Killed Me, have created a culture of women who find flattery in misogyny.
She says, “It used to be something that we (women) were sort of ashamed of. You didn’t want to admit to people that you were a stripper. But now, the hottest thing to say is, ‘I can work a pole!’ Who gives a f***? But it’s a huge weird thing. I mean, you see actresses, and their passion project is to play a stripper. It’s just stupid.”
