Christina Ricci Is Glad To Be Done With Her Twenties

Christina Ricci sat down with Marie Claire UK and shared that she’s a much calmer person in her thirties than she was in her twenties.  The ‘Bel Ami’ actress shared:

“I’m so glad I’m not 20 years old any more. I was in a hurricane.  I’m a lot calmer now. I don’t cause destruction for myself and others everywhere I go.”

“I take things as they happen and I’ve learned to be calm about things.  Troubleshoot problem as they arise and make the best out of things.”

Christina also shared that she refuses to change who she is to fit in:

“it took a while for me to be comfortable with who I was, to realize everyone might not get my sense of humor, [that] everyone might not like me.”

The actress promises she’s “not going to change who I am” to blend in with her peers.

“I’ve tried. It doesn’t work. I’ve never been very Hollywood.”

Check out Marie Claire’s photos of Christina’s fashion highs and lows throughout the years – it’s pretty interesting.

PICS: A bald Robert Pattinson promotes ‘Bel Ami’ at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival

You know, Robert Pattinsonwas hot in the ‘Twilight’ films, but he’s starting to lose his sparkle (no pun intended) with me. Bald is NOT a good look on him, but other than that – I’m starting to realize he’s not actually that hot. Okay, he was good looking in that stupid Elephants movie – but that’s about it. I have no desire to see ‘Bel Ami’ (see trailer below), which is a costume drama set in late 19th century Paris based on Guy de Maupassant’s novel about a poor man who sleeps and cheats his way to the top of society.

When asked during this photocall whether or not he would reprise his role of Edward in ‘Twilight’, he said, ”I’d be curious what Stephenie would write, but I just think I’d probably be too old. I’m already too old. But yeah, it’d be kind of interesting.”

When asked if his ‘Twilight’ fan base would watch his new film, he responded:

“The biggest disservice you can do to your audience is trying to repeat the same thing and get them to come just to get money or whatever.

“But if people are interested in what you are doing, then if you try and do interesting films on interesting subjects then I think it’s great.”

Asked what he thought of the fans waiting to see him outside the hotel where the press conference was held, he replied:

“The audience outside here is from everywhere, people came from Thailand and stand out in the cold there. I can’t relate on any level, but it’s definitely very nice.”

Picture below…. c’mon, I had to!

An itty bitty Christina Ricci steps out in London!

“Pan Am” actress Christina Ricci leaves the BBC Radio 1 Studios on February 16, 2012 in London, UK. I love Christina, but she’s just way too skinny these days. Not a good look on her.

PS: I gave up on ‘Pam Am’ after two or three episodes. Did it get better?

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Christina Hendricks, Christina Ricci, and Jessica Chastain Attend ELLE Style Awards

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Christina Hendricks, Christina Ricci, and Jessica Chastain were all in attendance for the ELLE Style Awards, held in London last night at the Savoy.

Who hit it out of the ballpark? I like Rosie’s look, but I’m not feeling Christina’s purple floral dress nor Jessica’s.  It’s a style awards ceremony, so I set my expectations high.
