Christina Aguilera has confirmed that she’s separated from her husband of five years, Jordan Bratman.
“Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever,” the singer tells PEOPLE in a statement.
Aguilera, 29, and Bratman, 33, wed in California’s Napa Valley in Novembert 2005. Their son was born in January 2008.

First Laura Dern and Ben Harper, then Courteney Cox and David Arquette, and finally Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman.
They probably all come out at once to take the heat off each other.

Christina Aguilera and her husband, music executive Jordan Bratman, “have been separated for a few months,” a source close to Aguilera tells Us Weekly. Although Aguilera and Bratman have not yet decided whether to divorce, the source reveals “they are now living apart, and they will see how that goes.”
Explains the source: “They were very much in love. But over the last six months, it became clear they were more like friends than husband and wife.” But Aguilera and Bratman remain united in their commitment to son Max, 2. “He is their main concern,” says the insider.
So sad! Yesterday it was David Arquette and Courteney Cox, now them!? Who’s next? Don’t these things come in threes?

The songstress covered her face with some white paper as she left the trendy eatery but as she walked down the street towards her car she very purposefully hid her stomach from view – could Xtina be pregnant with a sibling for two-year-old Max?!
