Christina Aguilera shows off her post-pregnancy body, since the birth of her son, Max Bratman, in mid-January, at a signing of her new DVD ‘Back to Basics - Live and Down‘ at Best Buy in West Hollywood, yesterday.

Christina Aguilera gave birth to son Max on Saturday but before her precious bundle of joy arrived, the stylish mom prepped with a trip to Beverly Hills store Kitson.

Our spies tell us that Christina purchased a luxe red patent leather diaper bag for $495, which doubles as a handbag once the diaper days have passed. She also picked up some adorable onesies, including one that serves as in an invite to a party at Max’s crib, every night at 2 a.m.

We are told that Max’s nursery has a monkey theme and the pint-sized diva ran with it, grabbing him a matching monkey onesie, long sleeve shirt, and socks.

And in an early sign that she’ll make a great mom, Christina, unlike her fellow Mousketeer Britney, took her Kitson trip in the light of day.

Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman welcomed their first child into the world today.

They announced the birth via a quick text message to friends and family at around 4pm PST:

“Baby has arrived. Mom and dad are doing well!”

The sex of the baby (or the name) has not been revealed to us at this time, but as soon as we’re privvy to that information, it will be updated.

UPDATE: The happy couple named their bouncing baby boy, Max Liron Bratman.

Correction: Christina had her baby boy on Saturday, not Friday. Maybe she decided to have them hold off on the birth because news came in that Nicole Richie’s baby was born Friday?

Word on the street is that Christina Aguilera is already at Cedars awaiting a very special delivery—and we’re not talking ’bout the Domino’s kind.

She has allegedly been there since last night, but when Planet Gossip’s Marc Malkin checked in this morning, her rep said there was nothing to announce…yet.

But will Nicole Richie beat her to the punch? She’s also expected to give birth at Cedars any day now. (For publicity’s sake, we hope the ladies are at least a couple of days apart!)

Katie Holmes and Christina Aguilera have both signed on to star together in the drama, Humboldt Park. Shooting for the film will begin in February of 2008, weeks after Christina is due to give birth to her first child.

A source says, “(Holmes) is trying to prove she can do more than fluffy popcorn movies“, and starring alongside Aguilera “shows she’s willing to take risks“.
