Them be fighting words! Sarah Palin is spitting fire after Christina Aguilera’s performance at the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Sarah was on Sean Hannity’s radio show on Monday, and she had some choice words for Christina, after the singer messed up the words to the National Anthem.

The 46-year-old former Governor bashed the singer, saying she’s a “a demanding beauty queen who’s clearly in over her head. Public figures must be held accountable for what they say,” Palin complained. “Here’s another case of an airhead diva going on TV, running her mouth off, sounding like a fool. She doesn’t understand something so basic about America, yet we’re supposed to tolerate her diva behavior? Americans can see through that, Sean.”

She criticized the NFL for letting the “spicy Latin princesses” sing. “Unemployment is at nine percent, yet we have to suffer through a performance by a foreigner with a poor grasp of the English language?” Palin argued. “If I were president, I’d deport Ms. Aguilera back to wherever it is she’s from and give Amy Smart a call.”

UPDATE: US Weekly has completely removed this whole story from their site. Could this all be BS? Hmm….

The quotes came from a parody site called SuperTuesdayNews, GossipCop points out.

The fake Palin quotes, since deleted from UsMagazine.com, included the Alaska Republican calling the pop singer an “airhead diva” and telling Hannity that Aguilera “doesn’t understand something so basic about America.”

“I’m sure Ms. Aguilera is a very nice person, but I just think the American people deserve better than a demanding beauty queen who’s clearly in over her head,” the parody continued.

“It boggles the mind that a major outlet could read these obviously satirical, fake quotes and treat them as the real deal,” GossipCop wrote. “However badly Aguilera botched the anthem last Sunday, Us Weekly just did a hundred times worse.”

Christina Aguilera started off the Super Bowl yesterday by singing the National Anthem, problem was, she blew a few lines during the live performance.

Only a minute into her performance, she messed up the words. Instead of singing  “O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming” she improvised “What so proudly we watched at the twilight’s last reaming.”

“This was the biggest performance of her career and she blew it,” an unnamed source with a VIP view said. “To mess up the lyrics was a disaster.” Another described a kind of “hush” falling over the stadium as everyone looked at each other in disbelief.

Aguilera was described as being “devastated” when she went backstage after her performance.

Christina told the Associated Press, “I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place. I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through.”

A source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (out now) that Christina Aguilera, 30, and her new boyfriend Matthew Rutler, 25, are living under the same roof as her ex Jordan Bratman — because he refuses to move out!

“It’s gotten really awkward,” an Aguilera pal tells Us of life at the $11.5 million Beverly Hills mansion, where the exes look after their son Max, 3.

After nearly five years of marriage, Aguilera filed for divorce in October 2010.

Finding Christina Aguilera between his sheets was hardly a dream come true for Jeremy Renner. Popping up uninvited at Renner’s 40th birthday bash on January 8, the singer, 30, got “wasted” then lay down in the star’s bed, a source tells the new Us Weekly, out Wednesday.

A week later, Renner went on a rant about the incident at In Style’s Golden Globe party after seeing Aguilera at the fete.

“Someone comes and tells me she’s in my room,” he told pals at the Jan. 16 affair. “I run up and open the door and I’m like, ‘Um, hi. What are you doing?’ She just starts slurring. Her boyfriend [Matthew Rutler] was rubbing her back. Who comes to someone’s birthday party that they don’t know and gets in their bed?! My parents were there!”

Adds another source, “Christina was a mess at that party. She acted like a fool. Her boyfriend was shushing her and telling her to go to sleep.”

(Renner’s rep says that Aguilera “was enjoying herself, but she wasn’t in his bed.”)

Christina Aguilera, who wore Zuhair Murad, was nominated for best original song for her film Burlesque. She avoided mentioning the recent break-up from her husband Jordan Bratman as she was interviewed about the movie.

But she did admit: ‘I grew so much, leaps and bounds, making this film.’

Among the changes was new boyfriend Matthew Rutler, an assistant she met on set, who accompanied her to the awards.
