Christina Aguilera at a New Year’s Eve party in NYC – Dec31th

Anti-fur advocate Christina Aguilera is furious with designer Roberto Cavalli, after he tricked her into wearing real fur onstage.
The Italian couturier is designing all the outfits for the singer’s current world tour, and was reportedly instructed by Aguilera not to include any real animal fur. But Cavalli admitted to magazine Women’s Wear Daily he sent her a stole made from real white fox fur, which she subsequently slipped on to perform gigs in Europe.
Aguilera was tipped off by PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals) vice president Dan Mathews, who sent her an email with a link to a video showing foxes getting killed by anal electrocution for their fur. The singer quickly replied, saying she was “very upset” insisting she “only ever wears fake fur”.
She has now replaced the stole for a fake fur version, in time for gigs in Switzerland, Austria and the Czech Republic this month.
It looks like she’s going poop.
Get your mind out of the gutter.
Marking the end of her UK tour, an interactive wax figure of the platinum-haired diva was unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London — and she’s never looked better. The stacked paraffin blonde wears a vintage, floor-length jeweled gown and stands in an elaborate mock 1920s dressing room.
British fans will still be able to croon with the waxen Christina by singing into a hairbrush microphone as a song plays one of her videos in the mirror. Forget the British Museum.
