Chris Brown performed last night at the party following the premiere of Takers in Hollywood. … Yesterday, Chris told fans on Twitter that a new album would be coming “next year or sooner.”
PS: Is that a tie or a scarf? Either way – it’s ugly!
This is the funniest damn thing I’ve heard all week!
Chris Brown caused a lot of commotion at the BET Awards Sunday when he broke down in tears during a Michael Jackson tribute.
An insider tells UsMagazine.com the crying was fake.
Before he took the stage to belt out “Man in the Mirror,” a backstage source tells Us one of Brown’s bodyguards gave the singer, 21, tear-inducing eye drops.
Brown’s rep denies it, telling Us that Brown simply “was moved by the opportunity to pay tribute to his idol.” But the witness says Brown definitely used drops. See the top 10 shameless male crying displays.
Says the source, “He rubbed it in and he started crying.”
Chris Brown has been denied entry into Great Britain on the basis of his past assault conviction, so for the time being, he’s going to have to postpone his tour he had scheduled there!
Great Britain offices confirmed to BBC News that the singer was denied entrance: “We reserve the right to refuse entry to the UK to anyone guilty of a serious criminal offense. Public safety is one of our primary concerns.”
This all stems from Brown’s assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. Brown was sentenced to community service.
Tour promoter SJM confirmed the concerts have been postponed “due to unforeseen circumstances.”
The singer tweeted the news, but has since removed that message. However, he’s been letting fans know how bummed he is about the decision.
“U ever feel like the storm clouds are too thick for any sunshine to get through?” he mused on Monday.
He may claim to be “humbled” by his past behavior, but Chris Brown is still losing his infamous temper. Just nine months after being sentenced for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna, the 20-year-old singer became enraged when he was denied entrance to Eve Nightclub in Las Vegas for being underage on May 1. “He went ballistic on the bouncers and kept repeating, ‘Do you even know who I am?’” an onlooker tells In Touch of the hotheaded star, who performed the national anthem earlier in the evening at the Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Shane Mosley fight. His tantrum wasn’t the only controversial part of the night — given his February 2009 attack on songbird Rihanna, many found Chris’ decision to sing at a boxing match to be in poor taste. The “Forever” crooner hardly took the criticism in stride. “Im human. how many of u r perfect????????,” he fumed on his official Twitter page the next day.
Over the weekend, the singer, 20, had a mini-meltdown online after he visited a Walmart in Connecticut and didn’t find his new album, Graffiti, on the shelves. “But they had Alicia Keys album ready for release for this Tuesday,” he Tweet-griped. “BUT NO SIGN OF GRAFFITI. BS.”
When a visit to store management brought Brown no satisfactory explanation, he exploded on Twitter in a profanity-laced series of posts. “I’m tired of this s—-. Major stores r blackballing my CD. Not stockin the shelves and lying to costumers. What the f— do I gotta do.” To the record business, he added: “The industry can kiss my a–.”
Actually, store employees told People and other news outlets, that particular Walmart did in fact stock Graffiti – but it sold out, as one worker said to MTV News, “as soon as it hit the shelves.”
