Usher is slamming Chris Brown over weekend photos that show the troubled 19-year-old singer smiling and riding around on jet skis in Miami.

In a video for Jermaine Dupri’s “Living the Life” series, Usher is seen around a laptop talking about a series of photos with some other men in a recording studio.

“I’m a little disappointed in this photo,” Usher says about the shots of Brown. “After the other photo [of Rihanna's bruised face posted by TMZ]? C’mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man’s on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?”

Brown — who is to be arraigned Thursday for allegedly assaulting Rihanna Feb. 8 in L.A. — and Rihanna were staying at a house owned by Sean “Diddy” Combs on Star Island.

Though Rihanna wasn’t spotted, Brown was photographed several times over the weekend, smiling, riding a jet ski and flexing his arm muscles. Despite reports, he did not party with Khloe Kardashian and Reggie Bush Saturday night at the Gansevoort South Hotel.

Both Brown and Rihanna were photographed arriving in L.A. Monday.

This makes me sad.  No matter how sorry Chris is, he almost killed her!  I am a firm believer of once a cheater, always a cheater.  Once a beater, always a beater.  Maybe I shouldn’t think that way – but how will she ever know he’s not going to actually kill her next time.

Rihanna and Chris Brown have reconciled, Usmagazine.com confirms.

Nearly three weeks after Brown allegedly battered the singer, the couple have got back together. “She’s not listening to anyone,” says a Rihanna pal. “And of course Puff got involved in this.”

The couple is staying together at a house owned by Sean “Diddy” Combs on Star Island near Miami, Florida. Brown has been seen smiling, riding a jet ski, and flexing his arm muscles. Rihanna arrived four days ago, according to a source.

The latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now, reports the pair have recently begun speaking again, and that Brown reached out to Rihanna on her 21st birthday. “He’s been calling and they are talking,” says a source.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County District Attorney is expected to make a decision soon on whether to charge Brown for the alleged beating on February 8.

In the weeks following the incident, Rihanna has been laying low, spending time in Los Angeles, Mexico and the ultraprivate resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California.

Rihanna’s pals recently told Us a reconciliation was always a possibility, “It’s not easy to shut off a relationship she invested so much in.”

In Touch can exclusively reveal that Rihanna has not pressed charges against her alleged attacker, Chris Brown, as of now. “We do not have enough evidence and there have been no charges filed on the Chris Brown case,” a spokesperson in the Los Angeles DA’s office tells In Touch.

But Chris is not necessarily out of hot water, even if Rihanna never files charges. “If the state gathers up enough evidence, we will press charges with or without her testifying. It is not up to the victim.”

With a March 5 arraignment date set in LA for Chris, 19, In Touch has also learned that Rihanna does not have to make an appearance at the courthouse. “She will not have to show up during the arraignment,” the spokesperson says. The only way Rihanna, 21, will be forced to face Chris is if the case, which remains under investigation, goes to trial.

As Rihanna celebrated her 21st birthday in LA on February 20 with friends, Chris Brown remained in seclusion surrounded by the bodyguards he has hired to protect him. “Chris is scared,” says an insider. “Not only did he probably lose his career and his girlfriend, but he’s also fearing for his security and his life.” Chris, 19, who was arrested on February 8 for making criminal threats, has good reason to watch his back. After reports that he allegedly hurt Rihanna during an argument in a parked car, there have been calls for bans on his music as well as those who have vowed to seek revenge. “Chris is a marked man,” a music insider says. “He faces criminal charges and possible jail time, but he’s going to have to deal with Rihanna’s legion of fans and her close-knit friends in the industry.” And the leak of a police photo on February 19 of a bruised and bloodied Rihanna only made things worse. “That photo was the last straw,” the music insider says. “The threats started pouring in the moment that appeared online.”

As bad as the last week has been, Chris Brown may not have even seen the half of it.

At the request of the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, the R&B star is being investigated for a variety of felonies, including domestic violence, assault resulting in great bodily injury and—based on specific allegations made by Rihanna—even attempted murder, a source close to the L.A. Police Department’s investigation tells E! News.

But as they build their case, the source says, prosecutors fear that making any serious felony charges stick could prove difficult in a case where there are no direct witnesses other than Rihanna and Brown. Keep reading… (more…)

A week after his arrest following a violent fight with his girlfriend, Rihanna, Chris Brown broke his silence with a statement, saying, “Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired.” But while Chris was finally speaking out about what happened, at press time, the notoriously press-shy Rihanna still wasn’t. “She wants more time to think about everything,” says an insider close to Chris. “She loves Chris but also wants to send the right message to fans by what she says publicly and how she handles her relationship.”

Although Rihanna was spotted leaving LA’s London hotel with Chris the morning after the incident — which reportedly left her with two contusions on her forehead, a bloody lip and nose, and bite marks on one arm and several fingers — she returned alone to her native Barbados soon after. “At some point, she will speak out,” says her father, Ronald Fenty, who still lives in Barbados. “She’ll be all right.” As for the state of her relationship with Chris, Ronald adds, “If it were me, I’d move on.”

But will Rihanna, 21, be able to break things off with Chris, 19, whom she’s been dating for a little more than a year? While a family friend of Chris’ tells Life & Style the two are not currently talking, a Rihanna insider isn’t convinced the star will cut Chris out of her life for good. “People who know Rihanna know how much she loves him and how she believes very much in the fairy-tale ending,” the insider tells Life & Style. “Maybe that’s naive, but hardly anyone who works with her believes she’s just going to walk away from him.”

Chris Brown says he is seeking counseling from loved ones and family members, one week after an alleged attack against his girlfriend, singer Rihanna.

“Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired. I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God’s help, to emerging a better person.”

The 19-year-old R&B singer issued a brief statement today through publicist Michael Sitrick. In it, Brown also says many of the reports about the incident are incorrect, although he doesn’t provide further details.

“Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds.”

Screengrabs of a fake Facebook page circulated online late last week, but was quickly determined to be a hoax.

Brown turned himself in on Feb. 8 and was booked on suspicion of making a criminal treath, but no charges have been filed yet. He is free on $50,000 bail while the case is being investigated.

On Friday, Brown’s father said his son is at home and “very remorseful” over what happened. Rihanna is now at home in Barbados recuperating.
