I must take a brief intermission in posting celeb arrivals at the Grammy’s because there is breaking news!!

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Chris Brown is being investigated by the LAPD in an alleged assault on a female.

According to police, Brown and a woman that cops refuse to identify were arguing inside of a vehicle around 12:30 this morning when suddenly things allegedly turned violent.

Police are refusing to identify the female - but word is buzzing around that the female is RIHANNA!! Did Chris Brown beat up Rihanna!?!?

Cops say they received a 911 call, and when they arrived they noticed the woman had visible injuries. We’re told she then identified Brown as her attacker. Cops say Brown had left the scene by the time police arrived.

Cops say they are looking to speak with Brown and may arrest him when they find him.

When we called reps for Brown’s girlfriend, Rihanna, for a statement, her people told us, “Rihanna is well. Thank you for your concern and support.”

UPDATE: Grammy officials have just announced that Rihanna will neither perform on the show tonight — as scheduled — nor walk the red carpet for the event. The same announcement has been made about Chris.

Talk about a smooth move.” The 19-year-old chart star is the latest in a long line of celebrities to appear in the advertising campaign.

This could get awkward!

Jordin Sparks recently confessed that she’s had a secret crush on Chris Brown ever since they shot that sizzlingly passionate video for their hit “No Air.”

Well, we hate to break it to you, Jordin, but you’re on a one-way street.

Chris told OK! that as far as he’s concerned the flying sparks were strictly for the cameras.

“I heard that [she has a crush on me],” said Chris at the 5th annual Fashion Rocks show in NYC on September 5th.

“But when we did that video, I didn’t feel that chemistry. I didn’t feel that. When they yell action, you have to put on a certain performance, but as far as off-camera: there’s no connection.”

So since Chris is definitely not going out with his non-girlfriend Rihanna, would he ever consider a relationship with Jordin?

It seems everything he touches turns to gold, and now Chris Brown may bring some of that magic touch to Britney Spears!

The 19-year-old R&B singer and songwriter has reportedly written two songs for the pop princess that she has not yet heard, the Associated Press reports.

“I actually wrote a couple songs for her now,” Brown said.

Brown also wrote “Disturbia,” the chart topping song that his rumored girlfriend Rihanna performed at Sunday night’s MTV VMA show, where he won best male video for “With You.”

R&B singer Chris Brown has denied reports he has moved in with girlfriend Rihanna, insisting he’s too young to play house with the Take A Bow hitmaker.

The pair sparked rumors they were engaged just last month, after Rihanna, 20, was photographed wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger, and now gossip columnists are hinting the couple is living together.

Speculation reached fever pitch last week when Brown revealed he was looking for a new home - but he now insists the place will be a bachelor pad.

The singer states, “I’m 19! I barely want my friends to stay over more than three days.”

Chris Brown is upset a new demo track has been leaked online - because it was destined to become a duet for him and his girlfriend Rihanna.

The teenager’s new song Electric Guitar was an uncompleted track that he didn’t want fans to hear until Rihanna had added her voice.

He says, “The record’s not finished. It’s supposed to be me and Rihanna’s duet.”
