Do we really need to see this much of Jeff Probst?

Have you ever looked at ‘Survivor’ host Jeff Probst and thought ‘Gee! I wonder what he looks like naked!’ Well, it’s your lucky day! The TV host stripped down for an upcoming cameo in ‘Two and a Half Men.’

‘What a blast!! I’ll be on Two & A Half Men – so fun to work with Cryer @mrjoncryer and Kutcher @aplusk Thursday, Nov 14th! No blue shirt,’ tweeted the 52-year-old game show host.

Probst will make his situation comedy debut wearing only a smile, as the Emmy award winner shows off his muscular physique in a guest spot featuring his birthday suit…and bacon.

‘I’m playing a version of me,’ Probst told The Today Show. ‘I just jokingly mean that I’m not typically walking around naked with a plate of bacon. I don’t really eat bacon.’

‘I got a call from the casting director. I happen to be friends with [Jon] Cryer and I texted him and he said, ‘I just read the script. It’s really funny. You should do it,” said the Survivor mainstay. ‘That was it. And then they said, ‘Oh by the way, you’ll be naked.’ I mean, how can you turn down ‘Two and a Half Men?’ — one of the greatest comedies of all time.’

Probst admitted in the interview that while he had the opportunity to cover his nudity, he decided to give the live audience a treat and bare all for the episode.

‘It’s a small part but it’s very fun. Definitely a highlight. When I left that day, I did call my wife and say ‘Well, that’s one for the books,” joked Probst.

‘Getting to work with stars with the magnitude of Cryer and Ashton on a show of this magnitude created by one of the biggest TV creators of all time—and be naked. That will go down in the scrapbook,’ said the producer.

In the interview, Probst admitted that when it comes to his body, he isn’t shy.

‘I don’t hesitate when someone offers me something like that. And all jokes aside, being naked, couldn’t care less,’ said the Survivor star. ‘That was fun. It was fun to put myself in that position. It’s also fun to make fun of yourself. Really, seriously, who is going to turn down a chance to be on that show? I’m all in.’

Jeff says that if producers asked him to come back, he definitely would. “If they call again and say we need you again, and we’d like you to get naked again? Let’s go. My slate is clean,” said Probst.

Jeff’s episode will air this Thursday, November 14.

Angus T. Jones apologizes publicly for calling ‘Two and a Half Men’ “filth”

Angus T. Jones is a sorry man, sorta. On Monday, Angus went on a rant  in a video for his Christian Church, calling his TV show ‘Two and a Half Men’ “filth”, and begged his fans to quit watching the show. Jones, who recently became a born-again Christian, said in a video for the Christian group Forerunner that he no longer wanted to be on Two and a Half Men. “Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth,” he urged. The apology he’s released below didn’t exactly retract this sentiment.

Since the video went public (watch it below) everyone’s kind of quietly been waiting around to see if he would show up back for work on the show. Rumor has it, he hasn’t been to work yet. Here’s his apology:

I have been the subject of much discussion, speculation and commentary over the past 24 hours. While I cannot address everything that has been said or right every misstatement or misunderstanding, there is one thing I want to make clear.

Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on Two and Half Men with whom I have worked over the past ten years and who have become an extension of my family.

Chuck Lorre, Peter Roth and many others at Warner Bros. and CBS are responsible for what has been one of the most significant experiences in my life to date. I thank them for the opportunity they have given and continue to give me and the help and guidance I have and expect to continue to receive from them.

I also want all of the crew and cast on our show to know how much I personally care for them and appreciate their support, guidance and love over the years. I grew up around them and know that the time they spent with me was in many instances more than with their own families. I learned life lessons from so many of them and will never forget how much positive impact they have had on my life.

I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that.

So it’s an apology….. sort of. It’s an apology along the lines of “if I hurt your feelings, I’m sorry,” which isn’t really an apology, if you ask me.

I’m still waiting anxiously to hear what creator and producer Chuck Lorre has to say on the matter!

One person who has weighed in, unsurprisingly, is Charlie Sheen. Here’s what he has to say on the matter. “With Angus’s Hale-Bopp-like meltdown, it is radically clear to me that the show is cursed.” He went on to tell TMZ, “Obviously, not having been there for some time, the Angus T. Jones that I knew and still love is not the same guy I saw on YouTube yesterday.”

He adds, “I dare anyone to spend ten years in the laugh-track that is Chuck Lorre’s hive of oppression and not suffer some form of an emotional tsunami.”

Katie Holmes new role? Slutty Pumpkin!

Katie Holmes is returning to TV – briefly.

Katie will join a long list of seasoned actors who guest star on ‘How I Met Your Mother’. The actress joins the likes of Rachel Bilson, Sarah Chalke, Jennifer Morrison and Laura Prepon.

According to NY Magazine’s Vulture, Katie Holmes has been invited to appear on the show’s Halloween episode next month – in a role called ‘Slutty Pumpkin’. A role so important, the series sixth episode will be named after her.

At a Halloween party Ted attended in 2001, he met a woman dressed as a free-loving gourd, learned a handful of facts about her, and wrote her number on the wrapper of a candy bar, only to have Lily (Alyson Hannigan) give it away. Since then, Ted has attended the same party every year, hoping against hope that this particular Pumpkin will return. It’s sort of like Linus and the Great Pumpkin, plus the hope of casual sex.

Still best known either as Joey Potter of “Dawson’s Creek,” or as Mrs. Tom Cruise (depends whom you ask), the 32-year-old Holmes was last seen on TV playing First Lady Jackie Kennedy in the Reelz miniseries “The Kennedys”; she’s also currently in theatres in the feature “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark.”

Vulture’s report doesn’t indicate that Holmes will appear in more than one episode; rather, her, er, “Promiscuous Fruit” is part of what series co-creator Carter Bays has described as Ted’s “exorcising…his demons” by revisiting some of the women in his past. It’s too bad Holmes probably won’t recur: Victoria is fine and all, but can her cupcakes really compete with a jack-o’-lantern costume embellished with strategic (erotic) cut-outs?

Seems very un-Katie Holmes, but that’s probably exactly why she’s doing it. Either way – I’ll watch for sure!
