Carrie Underwood is convinced she’s found the key to getting over a bad breakup - becoming more famous than a former flame.
The 25-year-old star has dated a series of Hollywood hunks including Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford and football star Tony Romo.

And although Underwood insists she’s not akin to the vengeful character in her hit song Before He Cheats - she does relish in the revenge her superstardom has already provided her against former flames.

She says, “Cheating is a deal breaker. If you cheat, you’re gone. Getting revenge on a guy is just not worth it to me. I mean, it definitely sucks at the time, but obviously you’re not supposed to be with that person. The best revenge I can think of is becoming famous.”

“I don’t consider myself sexy … I’m kind of a nervous person in general. I’m socially awkward. I’m not tall and sensuous. I usually wear sweats everywhere I go. Oh, and I burp a lot,” Underwood tells Cosmopolitan magazine in its July issue.

Aside from her potentially unsexy habits, the Grammy award-winning former American Idol also dishes about love and heartbreak. Formerly linked to Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford and NFL star Tony Romo, Underwood admits she’s been cheated on a “time or two,” although she’s hush hush about the wrongdoer.

The Country Thunder USA music festival near Dallas, Texas has been cancelled just days before the likes of Tim McGraw and Carrie Underwood were due to perform.

Poor ticket sales prompted organizers to scrap the four-day event.

It’s the second year in succession the festival has suffered - torrential rains prompted organizers to cancel one day of last year’s event.

Promoters insist the decision to cancel will not affect the Country Thunder festival taking place in Wisconsin in July.

The former Idol winner will sing her smash hit “Last Name.” Underwood is currently headlining her Carnival Ride tour with special guest Josh Turner. Her debut album, Some Hearts, was recently certified 7x-Platinum, becoming the best-selling solo female country debut in RIAA history. Country star Carrie Underwood has topped a new poll to find the most popular American Idol star ever.

The singer beat Kelly Clarkson in the new AOL Television hitlist, picking up 54 percent of the vote from 1.3 million fans who took part.

Clarkson was a distant second with 26 percent of the vote.
