How in God’s green earth are they going to turn a pregnancy manual into a movie – that’s what I want to know. I know Hollywood is getting desperate for good material, but ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’? Really?

It’s happening, according to The Huffington Post. They report the movie won’t be about preparing for a baby, but instead it’ll be a romantic comedy, and Cameron Diaz is expected to sign on for the lead role.

Why would they make a movie off of this book – and not include preparing for a baby? I’m confused! Deadline.com says the movie will be a sort of ‘Love Actually’ type, that will tell the story of five couples waiting for a child.

Cameron Diaz is on the cover of all sorts of magazines this month ahead of her new movie, ‘Bad Teacher’.

She’s been pumped up, smoothed over, and given all new skin on the cover of Cosmopolitan’s June issue.

Cameron tells the magazine “I think you get better as you age. You know what you want, and you become stronger mentally, emotionally, and physically…But also, things have happened recently that have pushed me to grow. My father died, and having gone through that really made me think about my life and how I want to live it.”

Drew Barrymore comments on her best friend, Cam. “She’s my sister, but we bro out and have crazy adventures. I always know that she is game. Most people don’t know this, but she’s very edgy…That has been a big part of our friendship, knowing that she will throw down at any time as well as that sisterly, cozy, nurturing love that we have.”

I don’t think it comes as a huge shock to anyone that Cameron’s edgy. She seems like the type to get down and dirty and have a good time.

Here Cameron Diaz is on the June cover of Elle UK. In the interview she talks about being bored with the talk of marriage – but she’s gaga in love with boyfriend Alex Rodriguez.

She says, “I think a lot of people are married to people they’re not romantic with any more,” she says. “I just didn’t ever marry anybody that I then had to get divorced from. We break up. We move on.”

What makes a relationship successful? “Guys need women who challenge them and don’t let them get away with their sh–,” Diaz says. “Women, conversely, need to not be crazy bitches who blow up when their guys tell them something that scares them.”

Beauty is more than skin deep, she says. “Women who know who they are and are confident are the sexiest. I don’t find women who are looking for people’s approval to be sexy. I mean, it’s easy to seduce, but to be truly attractive, to bring people in and be sexy, I think that comes from the inside.”

Actress Cameron Diaz, who is currently dating baseball hottie Alex Rodriguez, is making her rounds in the magazine world, talking about marriage to both Elle and Maxim, hinting that she may never be a bride.

In Maxim‘s June issue, the 38-year-old actress says she believes marriage is a dying institution, saying:

“I do. I think we have to make our own rules. I don’t think we should live our lives in relationships based off old traditions that don’t suit our world any longer.”

She goes on to tell British Elle:

“I think a lot of people are married to people they’re not romantic with any more. I just didn’t ever marry anybody that I then had to get divorced from. We break up. We move on.”

Cameron has had her share of love affairs from Matt Dillon, to Vince Vaughn, to Jared Leto, to Justin Timberlake (and quite a few more in between). She describes her current relationship with Alex as “really awesome,” and shares what she believes makes a relationship successful.

Ex-couple Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake have reunited, and it feels so good…but not how you think. The two have come together on screen for Bad Teacher, and Cameron had nothing but positive words about working with her former flame saying, “We had a great time.”

“Justin and I have always had a good laugh together, and to make a movie where we get to have a laugh together. There really was no one else who was more perfect for this part. That’s why he got the part.”

In the film, the 38-year-old actress plays a foul-mouthed teacher who has the hots for 30-year-old Justin’s character, a new instructor at the school.

“He’s a genius comedian, everybody knows. Saturday Night Live and all the stuff that he’s done over the years, he’s clearly talented. We went for the best person for the job, and it just so happened that it was him. And he delivers.”

Newly single and doing a movie with an ex? I can’t wait to see how this plays out.
