GENIUS CASTING!!! This is funny – when I was reading this book, I pictured Dakota Fanning as the younger sister.  They both are remarkably talented – so I think this is brilliant casting.

Thespian prodigies Dakota and Elle Fanning have agreed to play Cameron Diaz’s daughters in My Sister’s Keeper for director Nick Cassavetes.

The film is an adaptation of Jodi Picoult’s 2004 novel about a young girl (to be played by 9-year-old Elle) who sues her parents for emancipation after they conceived her in hopes that her genes would save the life of her cancer-stricken sibling (13-year-old Dakota).

The project reunites Cassavetes with screenwriter Jeremy Leven and producer Mark Johnson, two key members of his team behind the hit tearjerker The Notebook. It’s due to start shooting early next year.

Has Cameron Diaz finally found love? The single stunner was spotted looking cozy with just-divorced “Wedding Crashers” star Bradley Cooper in New York this weekend.

The two spent a romantic weekend together in the Big Apple, according to the New York Post, and looked “very close and lovey.”

They reportedly dined together on Saturday night, then hit the “SNL” after-party at Primehouse on Park Avenue South. The next day, they were spotted on the sidelines of the NY Giants game with Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.

Bradley’s divorce from actress Jennifer Esposito was finalized this summer. Cameron split from Justin Timberlake in January.

Now onlookers say that something between the two is “definitely going on, and it’s clear they are more than just friends.”

I love him, Cameron better treat him right!

I don’t know how many of you caught SNL’s season premiere on Saturday – but if you missed it, trust me – you didn’t miss much. Am I wrong – or do athletes make the worst hosts? I thought it was awful! I don’t think I laughed once! Okay – I did laugh during this SNL Digital Short. They should just give Andy Samberg his own show – and call it a day.
