Actress Cameron Diaz and child star Abigail Breslin film scenes together in their upcoming movie ‘My Sister’s Keeper‘ in Los Angeles. Cameron hid from photographers all day and even got her security guard to block anyone getting pictures with an umbrella.

I went to see Jodi Picoult at a book signing last night. She discussed how this book is being made into a movie. However, she informed us that they are changing the ending!! She was very upset about this and confronted the production company at which point she was told “readers don’t matter!” She is asking for the help of her fans. Pamela Anderson’s soon-to-be ex-husband Rick Salomon has landed a role in Cameron Diaz’s new movie My Sister’s Keeper.

While Anderson is seeking an annulment to end her brief marriage to the poker player, Salomon is using his notoriety to land film roles. As well as marrying the Baywatch babe, Salomon also starred in the One Night In Paris sex video, which he shot with then-girlfriend Paris Hilton.

And now he’s set for the big screen, according to sources. Salomon is set to play a courtroom bailiff in the drama, in which a mum, played by Diaz, is sued for emancipation by her daughter. Little Miss Sunshine star Abigail Breslin will play the Charlie’s Angels star’s girl. And sources tell the website that Salomon has a speaking role.

The Box is based on a short story called Button, Button and was a Twilight Zone episode. It is about a couple (James Marsden and Cameron Diaz) who are given a box that if you press the button inside it you will get a million dollars. The only thing is that someone you don’t know will die.

In the article the three stars were asked if they would press the button:

Frank Langella: “I wouldn’t push it for a very good reason. Because I’ve lived 40 years longer than the people who are being asked to push it, and I know what consequence means. People that age don’t always. That is one of the great lessons of the film.”

Cameron Diaz: “I know I wouldn’t do that. But how often do we push a button every day? It’s meant to be a metaphor. We do it all day long and we’re not even aware of it. There is a cause and an effect. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Honking your horn. Showing up late. The ultimate big red button is, are you aware of your actions?”

James Marsden: “No, but that’s me. We were sitting and talking in a makeup trailer, and one person said, ‘I’d probably do it.’ I said, ‘I would never do it.’ He said, ‘Yeah, but you’re you.’ A successful actor making lots of money is different from working at Boston Market. Now if it were $5 million, I might balk for a second. But I would like to think otherwise.”

Cameron Diaz was in town Sunday, shopping for a home in West Chelsea. Sources tell us she is eying a one-bedroom apartment in a two-year-old mid-rise building that is also home to New York Ranger Sean Avery. (And it’s just down the street from the Daily News – welcome to the neighborhood, Cam!)

A separate spy tells us the actress enjoyed a romantic interlude early this month in the Bahamas. The lucky fella was actor Scott Speedman, whom you might recall from the “Felicity” series.

“He has a house down there, and they were frolicking on the beach,” says a witness. “They were definitely smooching.”

Apparently, John Mayer is a bigger “player” than I thought! John was spotted “kissing and holding hands” and doing some suggestive dance moves with ex-flame Cameron Diaz at New York City bar Goldbar!  “They were totally on a date,” a source says.

On Monday, John was spotted with his apparent girlfriend since October, Minka Kelly at the Waverly Inn and then at Butter.

So I wonder what Minka Kelly thinks about his weekend with Cameron? I wouldn’t like it much!

The photographers following John and Minka asked if he thought Cameron’s “body was a wonderland”? The singers reply? “You should go on stage,” he told the photogs as they began singing the song.

Though they have been seen out and about everywhere and enjoying some heavy PDA, the singer says,  “I am single, and Minka is not my girlfriend.” Maybe someone should tell Minka that!

I don’t see the appeal in this guy do you?
