Cameron Diaz got some friendly support from her exes Justin Timberlake and John Mayer as her family held a memorial service for her late father Sunday.
Emilio Diaz, 58, died of pneumonia Tuesday morning. On Wednesday, Cameron, 35, thanked everyone for their condolences in a message that read: “His humor and spirit will always live on in our hearts.”
And in keeping with that exuberant Diaz family spirit, guests arrived at the memorial service at Mahe in Seal Beach in non-traditional garb. “Most people started arriving at 1:30 and hardly no one wore black,” says a source.”Lots of people were wearing Hawaiian shirts. It looked more like a party.”
Timberlake and Mayer arrived separately and stayed until most people started leaving around 4 p.m. – after Cameron had spoken a few words to the group.

So much for those romance rumors.
Nim’s Island star Gerard Butler vehemently denies that he and Cameron Diaz are hooking up.
Reports claim the two got cozy at the Shutters Hotel in Santa Monica, California, and Teddy’s bar in Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel.
But Butler, 38, says everything has been blown of proportion.
“If I take a dog for a walk, apparently I’m f—king my dog!” Butler told photographers Thursday in L.A. after a morning run.
Diaz, 35, recently told British GQ that she doesn’t want to be tied down.
“It’s the first time I haven’t had one in 10 years, and I’m enjoying what I’m getting out of this moment,” she said.

Cameron Diaz loves indulging in her new favorite hobby – karaoke.
The Charlie’s Angels star loves spending her Saturday evenings at New York karaoke bar Sing Sing, and admits time flies when she’s having fun singing with her pals.
She tells America’s W Magazine, “There’d be 30 of us in this really tiny room screaming at the top of our lungs. All of a sudden it would be four in the morning and we’d have no idea what time it was, no idea how long we’d been there, and nobody would be ready to go home. It was awesome.”

A couple quotes from her W interview:
On whether she dreamed of being an actress when she was a kid…“Oh, no. I wanted to be a zoologist, to study the sociology of animals,” she says. “But that’s pretty much what I do now anyway. I thought I’d be on the plains of Africa watching lions, but instead I’m in Hollywood watching train wrecks.” And then she busts out laughing and adds hastily, “I’m just kidding.”
· On buying a place in Manhattan…“I’m done with L.A. Those guys [the paparazzi], you can’t get away from them. You have no options because everybody’s in a car. Here, I can walk down the street like everybody else. Not everybody is there to be rich and famous or attach themselves to rich and famous people. People want nothing from you. They just want to say, like, ‘Hey, how’s it going, Cameron?’ I like that interaction. I like to be in a place where I can be open to people and not worry about the consequences.”
On her goals…“Just kind of taking more time getting to know myself. It sounds so corny that I can’t believe I even just said that, but, you know, there comes a time when you really have to get to know who you are…I’ve just been figuring out what interests me and spending time with people who are important to me and being present in my own life.”
On Vegas… “I looooove Vegas. It’s such an easy trip from L.A., and there’s always a hotel room because there’s about a billion of them,” she says, before adding with a laugh, “but honestly, you don’t even really need one if you’re just going for the weekend!”
The issue hits newsstands nationwide on April 22nd
