Even though Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz are no longer together, the baseball pro is still gushing about his ex.

Alex Rodriguez has finally spoken out about his ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz. Using the star’s initials as a term of endearment, A-Rod tells “The Insider” host Kevin Frazier in the show airing tonight: “I don’t like talking about my relationships, but I will tell you about CD: She’s probably one of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met, and just an amazing light.”
But when asked about marriage, the divorced Yankee slugger was less enthusiastic.
“I’m not sure,” he says. “I think my new hero is George Clooney” — the eternal bachelor whose girlfriend Stacy Keibler is close friends with Rodriguez’s new love Torrie Wilson. “He’s my new role model,” he says of Clooney. “I think he’s done it right.”
Call me crazy, but “I think he’s done it right” sounds a bit creepy. Who’s with me!
Cameron Diaz has a new movie “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”, coming out in May, and the actress is out in a full promotional tour.
The 39-year-old actress looks great in a Valentino dress. On the inside of the mag, Cameron talked about friendship, love and turning 40.
On her approach to life:
“I’m living my life as a journey. My quest is to make it better every year.”
On movies:
“What I love about movies is how many people they can reach. I don’t make a movie because I think, This is something I want to say. I just want people to laugh, to cry, to feel.”
On friendship:
“Good friendship is basic: Be good to one another, be thoughtful, enrich one another’s lives. I learn so much from my girlfriends, and I love it.”
Cameron Diaz returned yesterday after a vacation in Hawaii with family and friends. I was looking at the pictures of her in Hawaii, and her bikini pics really make me think she got her boobs done. It’s been speculated for a long time, and I think she actually did it.
Anyhoo, the actress is about to turn 40, but the milestone doesn’t phase her. “I am not afraid about being 40. When I was 20, I wanted to be 30. When I was 30 I dreamed about being 40.” If I looked like her, I wouldn’t be afraid of 40 either!
Cam was on vacation ahead of what’s sure to be a heavy-promotional tour for her new movie, ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’. The movie actually looks pretty cute, if you ask me. She joins an ensemble cast which includes Matthew Morrison, Jennifer Lopez, Brooklyn Decker, Chace Crawford and Cheryl Cole.
She plays Jules – an aspiring singer and a host to a weight loss fitness show.
Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Beyonce, and Cameron Diaz are teaming up with Andy Samberg and Glee creator Ryan Murphy for a new flick “One Hit Wonders”.
Paltrow, Witherspoon and Diaz will play three singers who each scored a top hit song in the 1990s before watching their careers go down the drain. They decide to form a super group. Samberg and his Lonely Island cohorts will be involved in generating music for the film, I’m told. The project came out of a dinner that Murphy had at the Soho House, with Paltrow, Diaz and Witherspoon. They wanted to do something fun together, and kicked around ideas until they settled on One Hit Wonders.
They are all working out the details right now.
Now this sounds like fun! Sure, there have been other movies with a similar theme, but these three as 90′s popstar type has-beens is going to be pure comedy gold. And with Andy Samberg working on the lyrics/music for the “hit” songs – they will be hysterically bad in a good way!

J.Lo was wearing a dress with a plunging neckline by Zuhair Murad. From the buzz this morning, many viewers think the 42-year-old American Idol judge suffered a nip-slip while co-presenting the award for Best Costume Design.
Lopez’s stylist Mariel Haenn denied Lopez gave an inadvertent peep show during the telecast, tweeting: “The dress fit perfectly to her every inch. There were cups built in and there’s no chance that there were any, how do you say? ‘slips.’”
Added Haenn: “While the dress did give the illusion of sheer-ness, joke’s on everyone who wishes they saw something! If you thought that dress was hot wait until you see what’s next.”
The “On the Floor” singer changed into another daring look by Zuhair Murad for the Vanity Fair Oscar party at Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, Calif. Lopez accessorized her plunging sequined gown with H Stern jewels and a Swarovski bag.
