An urgent warning has been issued by the Health Department, warning the star-studded crowd who attended the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue party on Valentine’s Day that they may have been exposed to acute hepatitis A. The list of possibly exposed guests: Beyonce Knowles, Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend Bar Rafaeli, and dozens of ridiculously hot bikini models.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health confirmed that an employee of Wolfgang Puck Catering was recently diagnosed with the disease, and has strongly urged anyone who attended the SI party, or any of the 13 other events catered by Puck between Feb. 1 - 20, to get an immune globulin shot by tomorrow to prevent illness.

When contacted, a rep from Puck’s catering company would not tell TMZ which other events Puck catered, nor would they reveal how many other people may have been exposed to the illness. They did say, however, that no one who attended Sunday’s Governor’s Ball at the Academy Awards is at risk.

A rep for Beyonce told TMZ that they “were looking into it.”

Hepatitis A is a viral illness passed in feces, urine and blood of infected primates including humans. Symptoms include fever, fatigue, anorexia, vomiting, abdominal pain, jaundice and lethargy. Foodborne Hepatitis A is transmitted by an infected person’s hands in direct contact or when individuals eat or drink items that have been handled by an infected person. Poor personal hygiene, shellfish from sewage-contaminated waters and improper disposal of sewage can all lead to Hepatitis A.  Most patients recover completely within 6 to 10 weeks. Hepatitis A is spread mainly via solid human waste (feces) and contaminated food and water.

Ray Liotta hit two parked cars while driving an SUV in Los Angeles Sunday night and was subsequently arrested for DUI, PEOPLE has learned.

“Mr. Liotta was cooperative and was arrested without incident,” Officer Mike Lopez said. “There were no injuries.”

Liotta, 52, was driving alone in a silver Cadillac Escalade in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood around 8 p.m. when the accident occurred.

“Officers conducted a test on Mr. Liotta and determined he was under the influence of something, we don’t know exactly what yet,” Officer Lopez said.

Liotta was booked and posted $15,000 bail. His court date is on March 19.

Nicole Richie was charged Friday with misdemeanor driving under the influence.

In addition to the single count, the case contains an allegation that Richie had a prior misdemeanor DUI conviction in June 2003, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said.

The California vehicle code specifies that if convicted of DUI twice within 10 years, a person can be sentenced to between 90 days and a year in jail, fined between $390 and $1,000, and have driving privileges suspended.

The complaint alleges Richie was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and an unspecified drug when she was arrested Dec. 11, said prosecution spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons.

Arraignment was scheduled for Feb. 21 in suburban Glendale Superior Court. Richie, who starred in the TV reality show “The Simple Life” with Paris Hilton, does not have to appear because it is a misdemeanor case.

Telephone messages seeking comment from Richie’s publicist Nicole Perna were not immediately returned.

Richie, 25, was arrested Dec. 11 after 911 callers reported her car headed the wrong way on a freeway in Burbank about 12:30 a.m. She was found alone in her SUV, stopped in a car-pool lane.

Richie was arrested after she failed a field sobriety test, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP Officer Todd Workman said at the time that Richie, the daughter of pop singer Lionel Richie, volunteered information that she had smoked marijuana and taken the prescription painkiller Vicodin, but no drugs were found on her or in the car.

Last month, Paris Hilton, pleaded no contest to alcohol-related reckless driving stemming from her Sept. 7 arrest in Hollywood and was sentenced to 36 months probation, alcohol education and $1,500 in fines. That case was reduced from an original charge of driving under the influence.

Rapper Foxy Brown was arrested in Florida yesterday for battery and obstruction of justice. TMZ has obtained the rapper’s mugshot taken Thursday.

Foxy, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was booked by Pembroke Pines Police Department after a disturbance at a beauty supply shop.

According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, Foxy was held on $1,500 bail for the two offenses. Ms. Brown was sentenced in New York last October to three years probation and anger management classes for assaulting two nail technicians. Brown was ordered to stay away from the manicurists for the next five years.

TMZ has learned what triggered the fight last weekend that resulted in Ryan O’Neal’s arrest. Ryan’s son Griffin chained his brother to a staircase in his home like a dog.

Law enforcement sources say when Ryan O’Neal returned from dinner last Friday night, he found his son Redmond (whose mother is Farrah Fawcett) tethered to a staircase with handcuffs on his ankles. We’re told Griffin had chained his brother to the banister earlier in the evening, after walking in on him and finding that he was unresponsive. We’re told Griffin believed his brother had overdosed and tethered him to prevent him from leaving and buying drugs.

We’re told Griffin was so concerned, he called 911 and paramedics actually came to the house. Redmond was awake and said he had just been sleeping, so the paramedics left.

We’re told when Ryan arrived home at 11, he tripped over the chain tied to Redmond and became enraged as Griffin laughed it off.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, they believe it was Ryan — not Griffin — who initially began swinging the fireplace poker. And these sources believe it was Ryan who struck Griffin’s girlfriend before Griffin wrestled the poker away from his dad. Ryan’s people strongly dispute this and claim Griffin was drunk and was the one who grabbed the poker first.

We’re told Ryan screamed “Get the f**k out of my house you asshole.” Griffin and his girlfriend walked out, and we’re told, for some reason, came back. It was then that Ryan fired a shot.

When deputies arrived, they found Redmond still tethered and shot video to document it. They also shot video of Ryan’s injuries.

Sources say Redmond checked into rehab last Monday.

Griffin’s attorney Gloria Allred would not comment on the details of the case, but did tell TMZ “Griffin’s concern has always been for the health, safety and well-being of Redmond and Joanna. He continues to do everything possible to protect his brother and I believe the facts will support that assertion.”

Gay rights leaders in Los Angeles are calling on Paris Hilton to explain herself after making a series of anti-gay and racial slurs in a video that began circulating in cyberspace last week.

The video, which appears to have been taken by an amateur videographer at a private party, shows Hilton referring to someone using the derogatory term “faggot” and describes herself and sister Nicky as “n–gas”.

And the leaders of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) are outraged by the footage.

They’re calling for Hilton make a public apology before the video gets wider play.

GLAAD President Neil G. Giuliano says, “When Paris Hilton utters these words into a camera, it creates a permanent record that… she must bear responsibility for. These are not frivolous words, and to use them as if they are gives tacit sanction to the racism and homophobia they engender. Hilton has an obligation to go on the record, explain herself, and publicly apologise to the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) and African American communities and all those offended by these slurs.”
