It is said that two’s company, three’s a crowd. That could be particularly true when you’re sharing one end of a small boat.But for Bruce Willis, his ex-wife Demi Moore and her young husband Ashton Kutcher, it proved no problem at all.

While Miss Moore canoodled contentedly with her beloved on one side, action man Willis was happy to concentrate on his fishing.
Miss Moore, 44, and her film actor husband, 29, had joined 52-year-old Willis at his home in the Turks and Caicos Islands for a holiday to celebrate the completion of Live Free or Die Hard, his fourth film featuring hard-bitten detective John McClane.

Also present in the Caribbean were Willis and Miss Moore’s daughters Rumer, 18, Scout, 15, and Tallulah, 13. Celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz was invited along to record the break for the latest edition of Vanity Fair, which goes on sale today.

Miss Leibovitz – whose portrait of the Queen also features in the magazine – went out on the boat trip and was no doubt delighted with the shot of Willis reeling in his catch while Miss Moore cuddled her man.

Willis told the magazine he sees nothing unusual in the relationship. He said: “It’s hard to understand, but we go on holidays together. We still raise our kids together – we still have that bond.

“Demi is the mother of my children and Ashton is the stepfather of my children. I’m thrilled that Ashton turned out to be such a great guy.

“I love Demi, and I know she loves me.”

The ‘Die Hard’ actor has hit out at the likes of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears who have all been photographed on nights out not wearing any underwear, displaying their most intimate parts.

Willis told Vanity Fair magazine: “They’re not writing about guys my age much anymore, unless I do something naughty.

“They’re writing about the kids. That’s what drives pop culture now. Anything goes, to the point where it’s OK for young pop stars or film stars to show photos of their naked vaginas in a magazine. If this is it then it’s over man, it’s the f***ing Fall of Rome.”

The 52-year-old action hero also revealed he is feeling his age and found the stunts in the new ‘Die Hard’ movie, ‘Live Free or Die Hard’, very tough.

He said: “A lot of the physical stuff they had me doing was still, let’s say, low-tech. I don’t bounce as well off the concrete floors as I used to. I’m glad I didn’t wait a couple more years to do this.”

Ashton, who has a close relationship with the actor, admits he loves picking Bruce’s brains about movies.

He said: “He was spending a long weekend with us and I asked him something that had been bugging me since I’d seen Superman Returns. I said, ‘How the f**k was Superman lifting up that kryptonite island?’ Bruce agreed, it made no sense.”

Bruce and Ashton have always had a close relationship. The star gave Ashton his full blessing when he wed Demi in September 2005, and even attended the ceremony. Ashton recently admitted he doesn’t feel like a married man. The actor – who at 28 is 16 years younger than his 44-year-old wife – is still head over heels in love with Demi but finds married life “bizarre”.

Ashton mused at the time: “Married life is great but I don’t feel married. It’s very bizarre. I don’t think you can feel married I think you just feel in love and when you’re in love that’s a really great place to be.”

The two stars were seen looking cosy at new Los Angeles restaurant Cut, where they enjoyed a lavish dinner together.

A source said: “They seemed really into each other. Renee definitely left with Bruce.” However, it has been claimed that the other diners in the restaurant failed to notice that Bruce and Renee were sat with one another because they were distracted by another star – Reese Witherspoon.

According to reports, the ‘Walk The Line’ actress – who filed for divorce from husband Ryan Phillippe earlier this month – was eating a salad alone, before Renee saw her and went over to have a chat. The two actresses were soon joined by ‘Die Hard’ actor Bruce and the trio then spent almost an hour together talking and drinking.

Meanwhile, Renee has claimed that her life was easier when she was a barmaid – before becoming an international movie star. She recently said: “When I first went to Hollywood, I remember working for two years in a bar. I was happy when all I had to worry about was the labels on the bottles. “I’m not a ‘look at me’ girl? When I have to walk down the red carpet before a premiere, I am terrified by the wall of photographers screaming my name. It is so violent.”
