Reports that $1 million will be added to Brooke Mueller’s pre-nuptial agreement with husband Charlie Sheen are premature, Mueller’s attorney Yale Galanter tells People.

“I have heard nothing concerning any kind of talk about financial issues between Brooke and Charlie,” Galanter said Thursday. “I don’t think any discussion about finances is true.”

Galanter has filed a motion in the Aspen, Colo. court to modify the protective order put in place after Sheen’s domestic violence arrest so his client and her husband can get together and attempt to resolve their issues. “We have a 10:30 a.m. court date in Aspen Monday morning,” he says, adding. “I am waiting for that.”

Galanter also says he has not heard the reports of Sheen and Mueller having a fight where he attacked her and shoved her so hard she hit her head on the floor. “I can’t comment on something I have not heard or know anything about,” he tells People.

Brooke Mueller wants to make every effort to salvage her marriage to Charlie Sheen and has asked famous criminal lawyer Yale Galanter to modify the protective order so that she and her husband can see each other and work out their issues, the attorney tells People.

“Brooke and Charlie are very passionate about each other, they love each other and want to try and save their marriage,” Galanter said Wednesday. “They had a bad night and want to get beyond it. They want to try and resolve their issues.”

Galanter – who practices law in Florida and has represented O.J. Simpson – says he filed papers in Aspen, Colo., on Wednesday to alter the protective order put in place after Sheen’s domestic violence arrest. He says Sheen, 44, and Mueller, 32, who are parents to twin boys, are seeking privacy to deal with their problems.

“They have absolutely gorgeous little babies and will do all they can to work out their problems,” Galanter tells People. “I filed papers so the couple can see each other immediately and work through the issues. I hope to meet with Charlie’s lawyer in court in the next day or so, but probably not before Monday.”

Sheen’s Colorado-based attorney had no comment.

Galanter also says he plans to protect Mueller from any type of potential charge of dishonesty. Reports state that she took back some of the allegations against her Two and a Half Men star hubby after she called 911 on Christmas morning claiming that he’d pulled a knife on her. Sheen denied to police that her used a knife to threaten his wife.

“Brooke did not recant her story, she was simply unaware of the consequences when she called 911 and felt bad about it,” says Galanter.

Brooke Mueller has not gone into hiding after her Christmas Day incident with husband Charlie Sheen. Mueller, who tearfully told a 911 dispatcher that Sheen was threatening her with a knife on Dec. 25, was out and about in Aspen, Colo. (where the alleged incident took place) on Monday, E! News reports.

The 32 year-old attended a cocktail party at her mother’s home and hit celeb hangout Caribou Club and “stayed until closing time,” a source tells E!.

Reportedly wearing jeans, green sweater and no makeup among a more decked-out crowd at Caribou, “Brooke was low-key,” the source continues to E!. “She was talking to friends and walking around the small club…you could barely tell it was her.”

Not that there weren’t recognizable stars in attendance: Paris Hilton, Doug Reinhardt and Gerard Butler were all at reportedly Caribou that night, but Mueller stuck with her friends. Her twins with Sheen, Bob and Max (born this year), were spotted playing in the snow with their nanny earlier that day. 44 year-old Sheen, meanwhile, has returned to L.A.

Sheen was booked for suspicion of second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief and was released on $8500 bond Friday evening. He faces two to eight years in prison and a $2000 to $500,000 fine. Prosecutors likely won’t decide whether to file charges against Sheen until Feb. 8, when the actor is scheduled to appear in court.

In stark contrast to his recent alleged violent behavior and shocking arrest, Charlie Sheen seemed like a picture-perfect family man when he sat down with his wife, Brooke Mueller, for an exclusive interview with In Touch last May.

Just seven months before a reported scuffle with Brooke on Christmas Day, the Two and a Half Men actor proudly proclaimed that he’d had “over a decade of being a sober, law-abiding member of society.” Gushing about the recent birth of their twin sons, Bob and Max, Brooke praised Charlie for leaving his wild ways behind him. “It’s hysterical to me that he has this reputation. Charlie is just amazing,” she said of her husband’s past, which included stints in rehab, alleged prostitution use and pleading “no contest” in court to assaulting then-girlfriend Brittany Ashland in 1996.

“I feel like I’m doing something for the greater good. They’re relying on me to make the right choices so they can have the life they deserve,” Charlie added of fathering the twins, born in March 2009. Unfortunately, the scandal-ridden star seemed to make a wrong choice when he was arrested for domestic violence on December 25 in Aspen, Colo. Charlie, who was released from jail later that night, will return to an all-too familiar place – court – to face charges on February 8.

With twins on the way, Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller should be excitedly preparing for their boys’ arrival. Instead, the newly married couple have been fighting relentlessly.

In the Nov. 17 issue of Star — on sale Wednesday — we report that the notorious “reformed” playboy fled to Las Vegas on Oct. 25 to blow off steam — leaving his pregnant wife at home alone. And he certainly wasn’t looking like a married man with twin sons on the way as he surrounded himself with pretty young women, partied with Spin City costar Michael Boatman at Privé and got lap dances at the strip club Spearmint Rhino.

“He’s still carrying on and boozing,” a source tells Star.

His weekend away from Brooke did more harm than good for his marriage. When she got wind of what Charlie was up to in Las Vegas, “she went off the deep end,” says an insider. And upon his return to L.A. on Oct. 28, “the fighting picked up right where it left off.”

Except this time Brooke upped the ante. She told her husband of only five months basically to shape up — or she’s going to ship out. “She’s expecting their sons, and she wants them to be one big happy family,” says a source. “She’s got the trump card, and they both know it.”
